He wasn’t supposed to find out like this. He shouldn’t be here. The wolves were not supposed to let him through.

“Are they yours?” He asks quietly. His eyes shift between Carla and me, trying to figure out who they belong too.

I could do little more than nod my head.

Pregnancy tests. I had taken three just to be sure. Each result didn’t make me feel any better. Carla’s words hadn’t made me feel any better. It was just such a shock. I didn't think it was possible.

He wraps his arms around me. “You should have said. Is this why you ran off?”

“Tell him.” Carla mouths at me

She’s right Blue, you need to tell him.

“There’s something I need to tell you.” I whisper and he holds me at arms length.

“The pup is mine, right? Blue, please tell me that it isn't...”

“Yes it's yours. How could you even think that I would have slept with someone else?” I frown at him as I push him away.

“Jaxon, for once in your life, just listen!” Carla snaps at him
