Leaving Blue with him was not something I wanted or liked. I couldn’t shake the feeling that this was some plan of his. I wasn’t quite sure how, but this had his name written all over it.

With one final glance at Blue, I make my way back over to the packhouse. Father was sitting in the office, his chair facing the large window. It wasn’t him I wanted to speak too, but I could at least get some answers.

“I wondered how long it would be before you showed up.” He grumbles as I step into his office.

“How did you know about her?”

“I have eyes and ears.” He mutters back

“Who?” I probably wasn’t going to get an answer, but I had to at least try.

“It doesn’t matter. She doesn’t belong here.”

“What did you say to her?”

“She hasn’t told you?” He chuckles

“All I know is whatever you said, you really freaked her out. Do you have any idea of what she has been through?”

“Do you think I care, son? I have a pack to run, a pack to keep happy. I do not need a little Rogue interfering.”
