9. Get out

As we walked I heard rumbles of dry sticks clattering, the sound was becoming so close that I fear Alpha Lucian's guards has caught up with me.

A felt a hand snake round my waist and the grip tightened though shaking visibly. "Hey, don't be scared, we are getting out alive." I tried to put her at ease but she started to whimper.

"You shouldn't have rescued me, I'm used to the pains— I hate that I'm putting you through all these–" her voice wavered, tears streaking down her cheeks.

I stopped walking and glanced at my back, somebody is following us, "now is not the time to cry, Lia" she shivers and sneak her eyes at me, I sneak my hand to her face and wiped the tears from falling.

"Now is the time to be strong, you need to stop crying." I ruffled out a small smile and turned my back to her, "hurry, climb my back let's get out of here."

She dallied a little and just when I was about saying it one more time I felt her leg around my waist. I rised to my full height and carried her
