“And voila! We have a schedule!” Rick released a satisfied moan. Derrick collected the card and had a look. He shrugged and handed it back to him.

“What? Not to your taste?”asked Rick frowning.

“It's alright. It's just for the public anyway. Send it across to my wife.”

“Huh?!” Both Rick and Damian gasped at the same time.

“What is it?” Derrick frowned at both their natural syncing and show of surprise.

“You just called her your wife!” Rick and Damian bellowed at the same time again.

Derrick tried to retrace his speech. Realizing he actually did call Lia his wife, he felt a sudden rush of heat to his ears. “I didn't,” he denied rising to his feet and ignoring Rick and Damian's lingering smirk.

“You did!”

“I didn't.”

“You did.”

“I didn't.”

“You did–”

“My Alpha, you have a guest,” a guard announced.

“Oh, a guest? Great!” Derrick exclaimed. Grateful for the opportunity as he departed the room shutting his ears and eyes to his friends taunts and smirks.
