Chapter 15 - Going to Town

It is week two for me in this pack. I must say, so far it is nice to not hunt for your food every second day or third. This pack has groups of hunters going to hunt daily or farmers giving the pack meat from their livestock. I can understand why there are packs. Now I am wondering why someone would become a rogue by choice!

I just finished my breakfast this morning when Zurig and his toys walked into the cafeteria. I haven't seen him since the day in Debs’s office. I did not know he was eating here too. I thought he had a kitchen on his floor. I stood up just as they were passing by me. Someone pushed me and before I could stop myself I pinned the girl with my hand behind her neck and arm bent behind her back.

It was Sandy. I recognized her blond hair. “Oh, I reacted before you could say sorry,” I let her go and she was looking at me furious.

“I don’t need to apologize to someone like you!” Sandy glared and I tilted my head at her, narrowing my eyes a bit.
