Chapter 1 - Not What I wanted

LeeI am in a dark room with no light coming through. I can smell the other rogues around me. How did I end up here? What happened again?“We were attacked. Naturally we defend ourselves,” I hear Suaco, my wolf, speak in my mind. Yeah, I remember now. We were busy hunting. We made sure to stay clear of the border of the pack we smelled close by. Why did they attack us?“I don’t know. And we are not the only ones,” Suaco added and I try to focus in this room. I hate it when there is no light in a room. I can usually see fine in the dark. One of my perks as a werewolf. I can also smell a human close by. “Wait, why is there a human nearby?” I asked out loud and heard her gasp behind me. I turned around. Dammit, I am struggling to see anything here. “I am trying to get our eyes used to this, give me a second or two,” Suaco added and I waited patiently. I know our eyes will start to glo neon right about now. I could smell the fear of the human behind me. My vision gets into focus and we

Chapter 2 - How Lucky

Lee“Take her to the truck,” the king stood up, pulling me up by my collar. What? This is not burning him? These silver chains and collar are even more pure than the ones I just got off. They are burning me. I can feel them. I glared with hatred at the guy with the cold, lifeless light blue eyes. He was just looking at me as if I was nothing. “How many surrendered?” The king guy asked as we all walked back to the buildings. I can’t help but cough at the moment. That was a hard grab to my neck too. Even breathing air into my lungs is painful. I think a rib or two are broken. “I am struggling to heal it,” Suaco let me know and I knew why. The bloody chains and collar. As we got pulled to our feet, they tied rope around my wrists with the chains. They are making sure that I can’t escape again. Why do they want a rogue anyway? We did not bother anyone before. We hunted in the no man lands and no one dared to attack us, not even other rogues. “Yeah, you will. This bloody silver is burnin

Chapter 3 - Failure

LeeI let my head rest against the back of my chair and I looked out of the window. They did not place anyone next to me. I believe they are wary of me. Can’t blame them, I will attack them and try to escape again. I watched as the trees flashed by the window. What is going to happen to us from now on?“Will we be able to be on our own again?” I heard Suaco ask and I took a breath in as I looked at the trees.“I don’t know. He was the only guy ever to have pinned me down like that,” I responded as I remembered the physical strength I felt he had used on me. As a rogue, that kind of behaviour from males is not a surprise. I expected it from him.I felt he was going to kill me but that suddenly changed too. I don’t know why though. I swear I could feel the hatred from him that I was about to die. That guy is scary in reality. Now that I am calm and thinking about things. I was an idiot to try and resist him like I tried to, or kill him. He was stronger and overpowered me easily with no

Chapter 4 - So Close

LeeDammit, I was able to shift, but our speed is broken. Everytime our paws hit the ground, it sends a shock of pain through our body. He will catch up to us in no time. Dammit, why can’t he just leave us alone? Let us go! Let us be! We are born to be free!I suddenly felt weight on us and we hit the ground. Fuck. The impact was quick and the strength I feel on top of me is sort of amazing. Wait! Why am I thinking this way? No, these are not my thoughts! Why is my body suddenly feeling aroused?“Why are we aroused by this?” I heard Sauco shout in our mind and I have no idea. “How should I know! You are the wolf part of me!” I replied as I am trying to get control over my body’s reaction to this power I am feeling trying to over power me.I can feel him pushing me to shift and turn human. If I do that, I will be naked under his body. The thought of him seeing me naked is making me even more excited. “No! We can not allow this!” Sauco shouted back, trying to resist him. Fuck, dammit!

Chapter 5 - Rogue History

Lee“Okay, all done. Your wolf is pretty strong. I am impressed,” Debs made a note in her file as she sat at her table again. I wrapped myself in the blanket again. “You can turn around again, Alpha,” Debs spoke and the King guy turned around, looking at us.Debs introduced herself as Debby and told me to call her Debs. She asked me a bunch of questions and I answered them as honestly as I can since I don’t really know about all the things she asked. She did not seem surprised when I told her I have never been to a doctor or a hospital in my whole life.“Oh, before I forget, Lee. For how long have you been a rogue?” Debs got me out of my thoughts. I looked up at her as I was staring at the floor while I was thinking about things.“Since I was five,” I replied. Both of them suddenly looked at me surprised. The King guy was frowning obviously. “How did you become a rogue?” He asked and I don’t feel like answering him. “Lee, you will have to answer him. We need to know this information

Chapter 6 - The Stench

Lee My alarm shouted in my ear this morning. I never had to use an alarm before. Where is the damn thing? I am trying to silence it while I am keeping my eyes closed. Urg, I can’t find it. I opened my right eye slightly only to see a screen on. Right, I got a cellphone now. I took a deep breath as I sat up and grabbed it from my night stand. Someone groaned in the room and I looked up. That is also right. I have a roommate now and she is apparently a heavy sleeper. Which is a good thing, I think. The cell phone already has my training schedule on it. I need to attend these training sessions if I don't want to die. One way of getting me up so early. They also want to see where I fit in the best. I got up and changed into a sports bra, t-shirt and shorts touching my knees. I am not used to wearing shoes. I will just take the socks and shoes with me just in case they want me to use it. For the first time in a very long time I can put my fingers through my hair without it getting caught

Chapter 7 - Rogues

Lee We walk closer to the scent as quietly as we can. It is just as we thought. It is a rotting corpse. It has been eaten though. By the teeth marks we would say it is a wolf. Can’t tell by the rotting corpse what the wolf was. A real one or a rogue. We did not find this corpse very far from the border and looked back at Gix. He started to move closer too. He smelled the corpse and looked around. Wonder if he is thinking the same as we do. We moved a bit away from the corpse and sniffed the ground to get scents around the corpse. There it is, the rogue scent of a rogue nearby. It has not started to fade. The rogue has been back to his kill recently. We looked at Gix and he growled. The rest started to go back on the path we followed. Troy and his son joined us. The prey is left in a small clearing. About ten meters from where we are standing and where the treeline opposite us begins again. Why is there a rogue this close to this border? The rogue scent is leading that way. “My rid

Chapter 8 - Blood

Lee After hours of torturing the soul, his body dropped to the ground. Lifeless. I have slit his throat. I looked at his body, feeling nothing. Why did they attack the Lycan King’s Pack? Well, they were stupid in the first place. Their reasons are not worthy of losing lives over. They wanted easy food. Please. Miles away from this place is an area full of fauna for them to hunt. Going through packs might not be the smartest way to get there either. You will need to stay in the No Man’s Land area, away from borders as you travel to that spot. What an idiot. I turned around and saw Carla looking at me. Oh, shit. I forgot about her. I am surprised she did not run back to the pack with the rest. She is pale and I can see her shaking a bit. “Hey, are you alright?” I asked as I took a step closer to her. She backed away from me and tripped. She fell on her bum. Ah, she is scared. Can’t blame her. Living in a pack with security your whole life must be nice. “You will need to get used to

Chapter 9 - The Eyes

Lee I must say, this dress makes me feel cute. “Oh, hey, Lee. Glad to see you came back. Can I ask you to go up to the 9th floor and fetch Zurig for us please?” Troy suddenly stopped me at the stairs as I was about to head down. I gave a nod and turned back. On the opposite side of the stairs is an elevator taking us up to ten floors. I heard the ninth floor is the office floor and the boardroom for serious meetings. On the tenth floor the toys and Zurig have their rooms. I pressed the button for the ninth floor and I looked at everyone as they all were beginning to go down for the party that was being held in one of the bigger rooms we have in the castle. Apparently if you walk past the stair, there are hallways leading you to bigger rooms. They are ballroom-like rooms. The elevator opened on the ninth floor and I stepped out. Someone else is needing the elevator at the moment. I saw the floor number light up as I got out. There is a boardroom on my right. It is behind glass wall

Chapter 10 - Second Day Of Training

Zurig Rainbow eyes? Suddenly I sat up, my eyes wide open and I looked around. What the fuck? Was that all a dream? Why would I dream about that rogue? Why would I dream that she has rainbow colored eyes? No, no, no. This can not be happening. I don’t like her! I hate her. I got up from bed and walked to the bathroom. I can smell sex on me. Probably because I did not shower after having sex with Sandy yesterday evening. I woke up before my alarm and as I got out of the bathroom, I switched it off before it could make any sound. I got dressed for the morning training. As I leave my room the girls are all greeting me. I responded like I always do and we all quickly grabbed a light bite before heading to the elevator. The girls were doing their daily morning chatter as we went down. On the first floor we got out and I saw Lee chatting with Carla at her room door. Carla handed her something and Lee went inside her room to put it away. She came back out, cheerful. Glad her day is starti
