Book 2: Chapter 47

Willow POV

The drive back to the rogue colony is silent between Osiris and me. His hand rests on my knee, and he nervously draws circles with his thumb. I know that he is trying to process everything he has heard tonight.

I am used to finding out the secrets of others, but this time it is different. This time, it is personal. Osiris is my mate, and I have already decided where he goes; I go. His path is my path. But it occurs to me I have never told Osiris.

"You know," I start hesitantly. "I wouldn't have let you mark me if I didn't want to be part of this."

Osiris looks at me out of the corner of his eye but doesn't say anything as he continues to drive.

"I am serious," I say. "The first vision I had was of you marking me."

"You saw last night?" Osiris says, and there is a hint of anger in his voice.

"Well, no," I say. "I sort of changed the vision."

"What do you mean you changed the vision?" Osiris removes his hand from my knee and grips the steering wheel tig

i hope we get a pov from willows (adopted) mom and grandma on hearing the news of the cottage and other building burning down. i hope they put two and two together of faris trying to take her out and do something about it
