Andrea’s POV

When the guards failed to return early with Athena's baby, my heart raced. I had feared that they had lost him forever and that I wouldn't have anything strong enough to stand up to alpha Daniel, but I was fortunate.

When they brought the poor boy who appeared so weak and starved, my face burst into a smile. With the way I feel about his father, I would have cheerfully killed him right now, but I need him. I need him to fight his father, and then I will happily send him to be with his sister.

“What are you going to do about the boy? Who will take care of him before we meet with alpha Daniel, you can’t leave him alone, he will definitely die before we reach the pack” I suddenly heard Lucas say and I tilted my head to look at him.
