Dom’s POV

“Like my alpha aura?” I asked.

“Well, yeah except, instead of using it as a command, use it with the intention to heal.” I looked up at her again.

A slow ache pulled in my core. It felt as if I had taken a blow to the stomac, and shortly after, I felt this immense pressure forming around my throat; making it slightly harder to breathe. Amos growled, feeling just as helpless as I did. I had no idea what was happening to her but it was obvious, she was experiencing physical pain.

I focused on my aura and with ease, I projected it towards her. It wasn’t much different than when I would use it to bend others to my will. The longer I projected, pain began to ease. Any visible discomfort she was in, began to subside and Amos calmed again.

All there was left to do was wait.

Anastasia’s POV

I was hunched over holding my shoulder in the middle of a field. A wet warmth coated my fingers as I bled. Feeling dazed I stood up. I didn’t expect to have to fight this girl. I

  • The Lycan King’s Witch: Beneath the Crimson Moon   Chapter 23*

Dom's POVHe snarled and retreated to the back of my mind. I sat next to her on the bed and gently laid on my back, facing her. She looked so exhausted and adorable as she slept. As much as I wanted to stay like this, I was too aware of the dirt that covered her feet and layered her clothes. She wasn’t a fan of shoes I noticed. Her toes always seemed to be free. They were pretty and tiny. A smile pulled at my lips. Moving a strand from her face, I spoke softly.“My love, you have to wake up.” She groaned softly. Her eyes stayed shut. I rolled over to my side, closer to her and gently ran my hand over her back. She stirred slightly to my touch but didn’t wake up. I watched her for a few more minutes before I tried to wake her again.‘Let me try!’ Amos chimed in.‘You’ll scare her if you try.’ I reminded him.‘Well then let me use your human form a little bit.’ He asked. It wasn’t often that I let him take control of my human form. The last time I did, I had to call Cyrus to bail me ou

Dom’s POV I followed behind her silently. Thankfully, I was able to get the images that Amos placed in my head out, but it was quickly replaced with herscars. And that was a real problem. I couldn’t get the image of her scarred torso out of my head. I was desperate to know who did that to her and the more I thought about it the more Amos’ restlessness affected me. We needed to run. To destroy something. Anything. The desire to ask her about it was eating away at me badly but I knew that if I did, it might make things between us worse. I didn't want to give her anymore reason to want to keep her distance from me.The longer we walked, the slower she moved. We made it through the castle doors, greeted by the staff and she gave a slight respectful nod to all of them. She moved slowly towards the green house. I could tell that she wasn’t in the best of shape. She opened the door and left it open for me to walk through it. Once the door shut, I finally spoke. “How are you feeling now

Dom’s POV Her lips were pale and the green in her eyes looked dim. I gave her a slight nod and swiftly changed directions. I took her further into the trees and sent a mind link to anyone in the area. I ordered them to say clear of the area for the time being. I didn’t want to scare her. The last thing she needed was to stumble upon a couple of lycan’s out on a hunt. The memory of her horrified face when Hannah shifted in front of her dominated my mind. Once I got to the river, I stoped walking and let her down gently. She didn’t stand, instead, she began to lay down flat on her back. ‘What is she doing?’ Amos asked. ‘My guess is as good as yours.’ She closed her eyes tightly and began to whisper. My ears had to strain to hear her. I watched her curiously as she continued to whisper. Was that the language the witches spoke? It was beautiful, or maybe it was another was because she was truly fascinating to me. ‘She’s a bit weird don’t you think?’ Amos chimed in. ‘Wel

Dom’s POVAmos howled in delight as I watched Anastasia sit up. We were both terrified that she might not wake up. Thankfully, the wait was not that long, she sat up almost immediately. I watched it all as she spoke in that beautiful tongue and the glowing barrier around her faded away, dissolving into the floor.Reign groaned, pulling all of our attention towards her. It was the first time since she was brought back that she was up and coherent. I wanted to run to Anastasia’s side and embrace her, but I knew that that would make her uncomfortable. Also, we needed to get to the bottom of what happened to Reign and the witch before her.“ you should be able to talk to her now.” Anastasia’s voice rang out weakly, drawing my attention back to her again.‘This was too much for her! We shouldn’t have had her do this!’ Amos snarled.I had nothing to say to him. He was right. I regretted it too. After what I felt today, what she experienced, I could never put her in this position again. When

Anastasia’s POVI looked around, the dungeon was now in multiple shades of blue. I successfully made it to the spiritual realm. Dominiko was on his knees hunched over with his hands clinched tightly. It was clear he was feeling whatever pain my physical form was experiencing. Cyrus stood torn between going to me and staying with his king. Their other friend walked around the circle, notebook in hand. Writing down what he seen. My body stayed floating in the air, my eyes were wide open and my mouth slightly parted, and a glowing green cord streamed from the center of my forehead to the body of Reign. It was a peculiar sight I might say myself. My spirit followed the cord over to the sleeping woman, and I gently placed my palm over her head. I closed my eyes and ventured through her dream state.I was no longer in the dungeon, but in the center of a dark forest. When you first looked on, everything seemed normal, but as you continued to look, the trees began to shift. The trees trucks
