Avalyn Nik and I had breakfast together before he left to go work in his office. I hadn't seen Dimitri, Mikhail, or Andrei all morning but I knew they were all busy too. Avalyn "Ava, Love? I'm back." Nik slipped into the bedroom. I almost thought he wouldn't come back tonight. He had a lot of work to do. After I had finished my work, I came back from the packhouse and brought Nik his dinner to his office. I forced him to take a fifteen-minute break and have dinner with me. Nikolai All the lights of the packhouse were lit and it looked grander than ever. I heard murmurs saying 'he's here', 'Alpha's here', 'get ready'. My curiosity rose as I walked into the living room. Avalyn Dimitri, Andrei, and Mikhail made it back home late in the afternoon. According to Nik, they never came back home after the party. They stayed at the packhouse and came the next morning after the 'after-party cleaning situation' was taken care of.
