A smile graced my face as I surveyed the room. We decided on the room across from us for Niall’s nursery. Tiernan and I choose a night theme for the nursery. The walls are light blue but slowly become darker until the blue is almost black where his crib is. A smattering of stars becomes more condensed closer to the crib, along with a gorgeous white/silver full moon above his crib. The furniture is a dark cherry wood that looks perfect against the colors within the room, along with the rugs that decorate the hardwood floor. I receive a relatively strong kick as I sit in the glider that Tiernan bought. This is my favorite piece of furniture. I close my eyes and lean back against the chair. I am startled awake when a loud bang rings out from downstairs. I have no idea when or how long I have been asleep. Another bang rings out as a growl reverberates within my chest.

“I know, I don’t appreciate being woken up either little man.” I tell my stomach.
