CHAPTER ELEVEN: ANGER

last update Last Updated: 2025-09-12 21:43:09

King Ryker's POV

I froze at Aiden’s words, anger and envy rising inside me at once. Mark her.

My jaw clenched so hard it hurt. Mark her? What if I told him I hadn’t even thought that far since the bond flared between us.

It isn’t that I hate her. Goddess, no. And I don’t blame her for her father’s sins, though Caden will never stop holding that blade against her throat.

If anything, she is everything I should want in a mate. A body built to tempt, a face that could bring kingdoms to their knees.

But here’s the truth that claws at me, one I’d never admit aloud— I don’t feel it. My wolf recognized her, yes. Ours. But me? I felt… nothing close to what they did.

I don’t feel the bond the way Aiden does, the way Caden tries to deny but can’t escape. And that? It terrifies me more than anything else.

“So eager to lose yourself, brother? Careful—you might choke on her before you taste her,” I spat coldly.

Caden shifted on his feet, his jaw ticking as though my words cut deep. His eyes fli

Aria's POV “Excuse me,” I mouthed as I stood shakily from my seat, the legs of the chair scraping the floor hard.My stomach churned and flipped in various directions at my new reality.Even though we were carnivorous in nature, the news still sounded surreal to me. I mean… it was an age-old practice, something that had been discarded centuries ago when we found better, suitable meals like the ones on the table now. There was no way in hell I was going to be able to eat anymore, not with the knowledge that one of my mates had eaten two pack guards. Gods.“Aria,” Aiden called gently just as I was about to move toward the door.I froze mid-step, my back stiffening. His voice wasn’t sharp or commanding this time—it was careful, coaxing, like he was trying to stop a frightened doe from bolting.I turned slowly to meet his gaze. His golden eyes were locked on mine, burning but not with anger. No, it was something else. A plea? A warning? I'm not sure, but it was a look that seemed to say

Aria's POV The morning sun filtered through the curtains, stabbing at my eyes until they stung. With a groan, I rolled onto my side and blinked against the brightness. My lashes fluttered open, and two shadowy figures loomed at the edge of my bed.“Good morning, ma,” one of them greeted politely. My breath caught, and I jolted fully awake. Sleep evaporated from me instantly. When did I even fall asleep? How was it already morning? I asked myself.Everything about yesterday had felt so surreal that I was certain I wouldn’t be able to rest. My body never handled stress well—usually, sleep was the last thing I could manage.“Just great,” I muttered under my breath as I pushed myself upright. My mind scrambled to remember the names of the maids… Er… Alice and Nora. Yes. Alice and Nora. They had bathed me in that expensive floral scent Lyra always used and tucked me into convenient sleepwear last night. I was still trying to recall if I had eaten at all when my stomach growled loudly, a

  • The Lycan Kings and their Wolfless Luna: Theirs to Ruin    CHAPTER TEN: REJECT HER!

King Caden's POV Stepping into the dark room, Ryker and I were met with the sight of Selene, my favorite of our mistresses, choking around Aiden's cock.He was driving into her mouth with brutal force, completely oblivious to her scrunched face—oblivious to how she gasped his breathless moans. Worse, he was moaning her name. Our mate’s name. Not Selene’s.Mara knelt dutifully beside them, her hands tugging at Selene’s nipples as if the sight alone was supposed to please us.Now, this was how we lived before. This was what we did. But never—never—did we dare whisper another woman’s name while inside them.“Well, well,” Ryker spoke, snapping Aiden out of his haze. “Seems our dear brother can’t keep his cock out of trouble.”God. His face was priceless. It wouldn't hurt to taunt him a little more.“And did I hear right? You moaned her name, brother?” I asked amidst laughter.“I'm I not supposed to?” Aiden spat, his fist digging into Selene's hair. “I found her first for crying out loud.

King Aiden's POV Frustration didn’t begin to cover what burned through me. Torture—yes, that was closer. My jaw ached from how hard I clenched it, my chest wound tight with the effort of restraint.Watching Caden and Ryker treat Aria like she was some disposable plaything wasn’t how I planned to spend my evening. The moon goddess must be cruel. There was no other explanation. To bind me and my brothers to one mate? Worse, to her—the daughter of a man they despised? It felt like punishment disguised as destiny.“Mine,” my wolf snarled inside me, sharp and primal, the word echoing through my skull. He bared his teeth the instant Caden’s fingers brushed her breast. My hands curled into fists at my sides, nails biting deep into my palms as if pain alone could anchor me. It didn’t.Gods, her body… she was a total work of art. Perfect in every damn way. If only my brothers weren’t too blinded by hatred to see it.God forbid, if I stayed a second longer, I would rip Caden’s hand clean off h

  • The Lycan Kings and their Wolfless Luna: Theirs to Ruin    CHAPTER EIGHT: UNWANTED AROUSAL

Aria's POV “Don’t scare her anymore, Ryker.” Caden cut in, his tone clipped, unimpressed. His eyes raked over my body again, slow and deliberate, but his face betrayed nothing.“She’s had enough for the day. Let her go to bed.” His voice was calm, almost emotionless, though I could hear the thread of concern buried in it.“Just a minute,” Ryker countered, his lips curving into a sly grin. “A little experiment before we go.”Before I could flinch away, his fingers pinched cruelly over my nipples swiftly, pinching hard enough to make me gasp.“Ahh..hrrghh..,” A shocked cry tore from my throat before I could bite it back. Pain seared through me, hot and electric—yet, tangled with something darker. Forbidden. My thighs trembled. Gods help me, my body betrayed me. Arousal surged in the wake of the pain, fierce and unbearable. Heat pooled low between my legs, spreading until I could barely stand.Mortification set my cheeks ablaze. My knees buckled, and I squeezed my thighs together, desp
