I watched in disappointment as Olivia was taken away by His Highness. I was so sure that this would be her last day. But then, luck was on her side again, as it usually was.

I had planted my golden tiara in her room last night just so that I could get a chance to finish her off. Death was the punishment for whoever that tries to steal another’s symbol of authority thereby challenging the rightful owner.

Not that I would kill her myself though, I secretly hoped that Claire would, as she was once a Luna too. She did not hesitate when I mindlinked her to, seeing as the culprit was Olivia, whatever her grievances were towards Olivia was unknown to almost everyone in the pack. The few persons in the know, refused to spill.

When Rowan left me just after marking me, to go find Olivia, I realized that I was never going to enjoy my bond with my mate as long as Olivia was in the picture.
