Fiona explained to Kolton how she found Finlay outside her room and how she decided to keep him safe. Two days have passed. Kolton was given a room on the same floor down the hall and almost every second of the day he stays close to Fiona and protects her. They were in the garden in the early morning. Draco's eyes raked over her form and his jaw ticked. She was dressed in gym wear and they were too tight on her. He didn't like everyone seeing her in those clothes. The urge to hide her somewhere, where only he could get access to see her like that was strong but he refrained from doing anything idiotic because, for the past few days, he was having many stupid thoughts. A muffled groan had her startled awake as she sat upright and instantly checked on Finlay who was sleeping peacefully beside her. She sighed, finding him alright. She contemplated whether to check or not and then decided it was not any of her concern before she lay back down. A sweet scent of flowers engulfed him as he inhaled deeply. It was nice and soothing, almost coaxing him back to sleep again. Draco blinked open his eyes slowly and the first thing he noticed was something soft under him. His pillow was soft. Wait it wasn't his pillow but whatever this was, it was far better than his pillow. His head was pounding. He shouldn't have had the strongest drink. Draco had his jaw set and he was annoyed because of the suddenly needed presence of him at the council. He had his schedule set for the week. There were millions of pending things set to be completed within this week but the council decided to summon him out of nowhere when he had a very important meeting with the advisors within a few hours. Draco didn't wait to greet anyone as he barged right into the huge meeting room where all the council members were already seated. He walked over to the head chair and took his seat.
