BRAD'S POV

Damn it! How could Scarlet shun me like that? Some minutes ago, she was literally begging me to accept her but all of a sudden, she can’t make a choice? I don’t blame her anyway, it’s not everyday an omega like her gets the attention of an Alpha and Lycan Prince.

As I drove back to my house, I couldn't control the anger that was running through me. Irritation pricked my skin each time I remembered the look on Elias' face.

"Why didn't she pick me? Did she think he was better than me?” I couldn’t help but ponder over these questions. I could barely keep my concentration on the road and it felt like the car was closing in on me. I took a deep breath and decided to take a break.

I parked the car at a corner of the road, turned off the ignition and began to think. I couldn’t let Elias have her. I didn’t want or care about her but Elias would not take her from me. I would lose my respect in the pack and in school. This was a fight, one that I was willing to do anything to win.

A sigh of frustration escaped from my lips as I thought about what to do. I could think of nothing except waiting for her to make a choice. And I was fairly certain she wouldn’t pick me. Not after what happened.

“I’ll have to do it my own way.” I mustered, then tried to kick start my car. The engine fluttered but went dead. “What the hell!!”

As I was struggling to get the car started, my phone rang. I sighed and yanked my phone from the car seat. A frown spread across my face when I saw it was one of the maid’s at home. Why was she calling me?

"What is it and who told you to call me?" I snapped as soon as I picked up the call.

"Good afternoon, sir. I'm sorry to-to bother you.” She stuttered as she spoke, infuriating me more. My hand clenched into a fist and I was sure I would have buried it in her face if she

was around me.

"You should speak if you intend to, and stop acting like a fool. Why did you call me? I don’t have all day.”

She hesitated briefly, breathing loudly over the phone. "There's an emergency, Sir. Please come back as soon as possible, Sir.” She said, her voice laced with concern.

"What emergency is that? Is anyone dying and is there no one around to help you out?" I asked in fright. My heart was thumping heavily against my chest and my palms were perspiring. To make matters worse, she was responding slowly.

"Are you there? Talk to me! What the hell is happening over there?!" I yelled.

"It's Miss Valeria. She's threatening to hurt herself if you don't get here as soon as possible." She finally answered.

I heaved a heavy sigh but at the same time, I was annoyed. What kind of stunt was Valerie trying to pull?

“What does she think she’s doing? Why does she want to hurt herself?”

"I don't know, Sir. That's what she said and I got so scared. I had to call you before anything bad happens." I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration, wondering why I had the misfortune of such dramas.

It was impossible to have a day without unnecessary drama. Valerie was sometimes a bitch but she was the most beautiful bitch in the pack.

"Give the phone to her. Is she there with you?"

"Yes, she is, but she has refused to take the phone from me. She said you should come home if you have anything to say to her.”

I suppressed a curse and shook my head. “I'll be there in a few minutes. Watch her and make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid." I ordered and hung up immediately.

I flung the phone to the car seat and fixed my attention to my car that just wouldn't start no matter how hard I tried. It was a shame that the Alpha’s son was having problems with his car. Elias didn’t have problems like this, and it hurt me to admit that I was jealous of him.

"Can you stop acting up?" I slammed her hands against the steering wheel in frustration, then turned the key, and surprisingly, my car roared to life.

I heaved a sigh of relief and began to drive back to the pack house. As I drove through the nearly deserted road, a strange feeling of peace swept over me, and I didn't seem to care about anything going on around me.

All I could think of was having Valerie in my arms as my girlfriend and eventually my Luna. That was all that mattered, right?

I was home in a few minutes and I dashed into the house and headed right to my room. I was practically running, the fear in me intensifying by each step I took. I knew Valerie was dramatic but sometimes, she could do stupid things.

I flung my door open and walked in, my chest rising and falling. The maid who called me was standing at the corner and then Valeria, was slumped at the ground, looking like the entire world had come crashing down on her. I took a deep breath, bracing myself for the worst that could happen.

"You can take your leave now," I said to the maid. She lowered her head in a bow and then dashed out of the room. When I was sure she was far enough, I fixed my attention on Valerie.

"What is wrong with you? Why are you trying to hurt yourself?" I knew she was in that state because of me and worse, I couldn't do anything about it. We had made promises to each other, promises that I was about to break because I couldn’t let Elias trample all over me.

Valerie ignored me completely, and remained motionless in her position.

"Valerie? Can you hear me?" I asked, moving closer to her. Without warning, she rose to her feet and charged at me.

"I guess you're happy, right? You must be happy with what you have done. You chose that girl over me! That freak!”

Her words stung me like a sore bite, leaving me speechless. I tried to speak but she continued, her rage brimming in her eyes.

"What do you take me for? A fool? We had an agreement and I stuck to my end of the bargain. What did you do? Who do you think would take me now?" Tears gathered in her eyes and began to trickle down her face.

"I'm sorry, Valerie. I didn't mean for things to go this way.” She placed a finger over my lips, preventing me from speaking further.

"You can still change your mind, Brad. I'd do anything you want me to do," she muttered, pulling closer to me until she was only a few inches from me.

She raised her head and planted a kiss on my lips. I wanted to push her away but then I couldn't. I closed my eyes and deepened the kiss, allowing pleasure to overwhelm me. Her hands moved across my chest slowly and I groaned.

"Please stop it," I moaned slowly but she completely ignored me. Her hands gilded down my chest until it was resting on my bulge. As her hand worked around my slowly rising cock, my respiration intensified.

"Please stay with me. Please, don't leave me," she muttered as she fondled my cock. It grew in her hand until it was rock hard and even though I had a lot to say, I couldn't bring myself to say anything to her.

I slowly shut my eyes tight, allowing ecstasy to flow through me. There was nothing I could think of but the movement of her hand against my skin. It was heavenly and sent a wave of passion through me.

I reached for her boobs and cupped them gently, then began to pinch her nipples which were like hard buds against her top. She moaned softly into my mouth and I increased my pace.

"Damn it!" I cursed under my breath as I squeezed her breast even harder. She seemed to love it and didn't hesitate to push her chest out to me.

"You’re all mine and I am yours.” She whispered, burying her fingers into my hair. “You can’t be with that bitch. You can play with her heart and break her but you can’t make her your Luna.”

Her words snapped within me and I immediately withdrew from her. She was right, I didn’t have to make Scarlet my Luna. But I could convince her that she would be my Luna. I could give her the attention she wanted but dump her once I’ve taken her from Elias. Valerie was a fucking genius.

"I want to be with Scarlet, Valerie.” I blurted out. “She’s my true mate and the one I want.” Valerie’s eyes widened and before I knew it, her hand met my cheek with a hard slap.

"How dare you?” She choked out. “We had a deal. Why would you choose her after everything we’ve been through?”

"I'm sorry, Valerie, but it's over between us and there's no going back.”

  • The Lycan’s Claim On The Rejected Omega   Chapter Two Hundred And Twenty Five

SCARLET'S POV. Egg after egg dropped, filling the space, and I couldn't help the feeling of raw panic eating me up. I had ever seen such a monster with different traits. It has pincers like scorpions and made loud noises. It buzzed like a bee, and was so solid even though it was made of ants. It was laying eggs which was really unbelievable, but what scared me was that I didn't know what would happen if the eggs happened to hatch. What creature would we see there, and how would they eat us up?I took in deep breaths, as me and Elias were pushed together. I couldn't help myself. It felt like I would suddenly scream, and go out. The eggs fell against us, and it was then I knew I couldn't help myself. “Elias!” I called out, as my hand closed over his shirt tightly. My mouth opened wide, and I fought for breath, but couldn't find it. “Scarlet, Scarlet, breathe!” Elias said, looking at me intently, as I hit my chest, trying to breathe. My eyes filled up with tears, and it felt like I w

RALPH'S POVEstelle looked at us all, enjoying the looks of shock on the faces of the men. Then she walked over to me, and bent, placing a hand on the table, and the other behind my chair. I wouldn't deny the ice in her eyes. Everything about her seemed cold, and although I hated her being that close to me, I did not budge. I stared at her right in the eye, without fear. “You must be having a hard time, right?” She spoke softly. “Well, I've had a harder time.” She said, then straightened up, without taking her eyes off me for a second. She seemed to built for revenge, and in her eyes were the echoes of pain, and cold. She took a few steps backwards, before giving a smile that didn't reach her eyes, then she turned away, walking out of the hall. The elders all looked like they had been holding their breaths, and they let it out quickly, looking at each other. “I believe we've discussed all we need to discuss.” I said, getting to my feet. Sitting around, doing nothing was something

RALPH’S POVI dressed in my room, trying hard so time wouldn't run out on me. There was a council meeting scheduled for the day, and I had to attend instead of Elias. The council elders had sent in multiple envelopes, all demanding to see Elias. ‘Where is the Alpha?’‘What is the Alpha planning on doing?’‘Is Alpha Elias aware that things are becoming even worse?’They had sent in all kinds of questions, and I understood their impatience. It was all stemming from the fear Estelle had woven into their hearts. A knock came on my door. “Come in.” I said, brushing my hair. If I didn't look my best, they would assume Elias didn't know what he was doing, and that he had just put some random person on his throne. I really hoped he and Scarlet would make it back alive, and quickly because I was in no way fit for an Alpha. A maid walked in with toast on a tray. “No, no, I'm fine. I didn't ask for breakfast.” I said, but she didn't retreat. “Before leaving, Alpha Elias gave me strict ord

SCARLET’S POVWe fell mercilessly, hitting the rough edges, getting bruises all over. I landed on the ground with my head in an awkward position, before straightening up, and looking at Elias, who was sprawled on the ground, breathing hard, as he looked up at the sky. I looked around. Apparently, we had fallen in some kind of hole. Due to taking quick hasty breaths, the dust managed to get into my nose, and I sneezed hard. We heard the strange buzzing sound, and I covered my mouth, only for another sneeze to come true. I sneezed again, and Elias scrambled to his fist to cover my mouth. I held his hand there, willing myself not to sneeze. Eventually, I let out a tiny one, and with my eyes watering, I looked around, taking Elias' hands off my mouth. Everywhere was dusty. It was probably because we had fallen through it. All the dust seemed to be settling. “What do we do now?” I whispered, giving a little cough, as I tried to swipe the dust away from settling on my face.“I think w

THIRD PERSONIt wasn't just Elias who felt the tendrils of fear squeezing his heart. Scarlet felt it too, and it felt like her chest was on fire, just from wondering what would happen. The mere terror that the clanging sound generated made her heart beat faster at every clang. It was too much for her to handle. She looked around repeatedly, and the soft wind whipped her hair into her face, which she brushed back with both hands. Already, her palms were cold and sweaty, and the anxiety was just too much. She needed the suspense to be over. “What do you think that is?” She asked Elias, still looking around, trying to guess what could be the reason for the weird sound. “I have no idea.” Elias replied, as the sound grew louder. “We should… I think we should move on.” Scarlet suggested, wanting to make a move. It was so obvious that whatever was approaching them with the weird sound wasn't single. It wasn't two, nor was it three. It was definitely a lot.“I say we wait.” Elias replied,

  • The Lycan’s Claim On The Rejected Omega   Chapter Two Hundred And Twenty

ELIAS’ POVI couldn't understand the fear and anxiety filling me up. It wasn't the first time Scarlet and I had been on a journey, or been faced with dangerous creatures, and people, but still there was that nervousness. That whispering voice that told me my fears were not twisting lies in my head, but trying to bore the truth into me. Something really awful could happen, and I might be unable to escape it with Scarlet by my side. Either way, I hated the feeling. The whole place spoke, and gave an aura of power, dark power, and it boasted too easily of how we could get killed. It was the main reason for my fears. The man looked at us, and even without the features on his face, I was somehow able to tell that he had a smile on. Then, I looked at Scarlet. She also seemed lost in thoughts, and it would be the best time to try to convince her, but she would despise me for it. It was better I carried out her wish, than to let my fear get the best of me. “We are willing to try. After
