Chapter 2

The young lady been murmured her frustration this all time, “There's no way there's a living wolf in here! That howl earlier is a copy-cat, that's the only possibility I can think of. The question left is who dare to copy-cat the greatest existence here in this lowly place?” She reveal a mocking expression as she scan around, the weary trees blows by the winds is on the brink of collapse.

The gloomy forest is known for its mystery of housing the lycans, but no one really prove the matter. That's one of the reason this young lady goes so far of crossing this land. The others is complicated that she can't possibly bring herself to think about it right now. She push them aside as the sight of the weary trees remind her of her collapse.

“I promise to stand out and rise to the top just like my ancestors!” She said and reveal a hoping expression. “But first, their might must be preserve first. They have done a good job on wiping out that dispicable species, so how comes they survive?” 

She laugh the thought. 

“There's no way... I'll definitely come out in this gloomy forest whatever it takes!”

Without knowing it, someone tailed her this whole time. It thought, “Try the hardest, you smelled horrible of a huntress!” It's sniff, then reveal the long pointed fangs at the corner of its mouth. In his heart, he know for certain what awaits this young lady! 

“This is my chance to feed the village with this horrible-bloodied huntress!” Its red eyes shone bloodily, and as if connected to the bloody moon, it shows the might of looking down the whole existence.

This is the night of the bloody moon, and every villages inside this gloomy forest is preparing a ritual where all those have partner is dropping their blood to the pool of golden flame. Strangely, the more the drop of blood mix to the golden flame, the gloomy forest tremble to a halt. Not even the wind is exemption to the halt, and strangely, the trees begun show the bit of green and leaves grow in any branches!

This cause the young lady's eyes to shrink, gasped to find the gloomy forest felt like moving, as if alive!

“What is happening?” Her eyes widened, reveal a disbelieving look. It can be said that a gloomy trees is forever a disgrace, would never grow, and only waiting for its final ends!

But right now, the sudden change cause this young lady to feel like she's being mock by this lowly of a place. She roared in her frustration, “You dare pretend gloomy when you're alive!”

The roared cause the tremble of the forest to slightly affected, and the halt greatly pause, showing a flow of the winds so harsh it blown away the trees in the area without mercy. It burst away into ashes!

This cause the creature who follow this young lady to felt his whole existence tremble, it eyes greatly constrict. It tried to step back but the harsh winds accompany with a greatest force slam into its body, with the intention to blown his cover away!

The dread in his heart is no way of little, as he pondered with too much bitterness. He cough a mouthful of blood, barely stood up. He thought, “A mere huntress... Those horrible species is no way to possess such a might!”

This time, this creature reveal his fang, gritted it while blood dripped out. He said, now a deep desire appear in his eyes, “Whatever this horrible existence is made of, I'll defintely own her before this bloody night will over!”

There's no way this young lady know this. Right now, she realize the forest is still as gloomy as before. This cause her frustration to skyrocketed. How can this forest be this hard to tame? Isn't it afraid that she will wipe them out for good?

Truth to be told, this night is a bloody night for all the creatures in this gloomy forest. It wasn't known from outside, but everytime the moon will glow in a bloody color, the forest will open and the creature so high can make it outside to lead the unfortunate choosen to be a sacrificial in this bloody night!

The young-looking man appeared out of nowhere, his eyes blue, and it shown with strange glow this time. The entire time, he restraining himself from following this last of the descendant of the great, but for some unknown reason, a dread appeared at the deepest of his existence.

There, a voice so faint he barely hear said while roaring in anger, “I dare you... to stop right now!”

The young looking man sneered, however, he reveal a shock in his face as he felt the dread that he never been felt before. He said, as faint as the voice in the deep of his soul, “I felt something just now. But what is It you want me to stop to even risk your consciousness to a collapse?”

The faint voice barely said, “M...mate...” 

The young looking man couldn't believe it. He laugh like mad, he said to himself, “That hag is cunning. Is it trying to swayed me to ever have a chance to overturned my mind?” He nodded when that's the only thing he can think of. “I can't believe the hag risk the century of might to wasted with this nonsense!”

Around this time, the villages is in chaotic by the sudden burst of the pool of golden flame, burning almost the half of the village. The scream of agony and pain is accompanied with the shrieking wind, blowing the flame to everywhere. This happen to every villages and no one can ever expected this to happen!

“Finish! We are finish!” The same words uttered anywhere, in despair and in a brink of collapse to the suddenness of this all. Some can only endure the burning of their flesh, but the horrible sceam by the majority cause the unaffected to felt the dread they never felt before.

In this gloomy forest, they are the might under the outsider, and everyone is rank base in the power of the village as the whole. With the ravaging flame, burning the surrounding yet leaving the villagers unconscious is something that reminded them of the legend behind this golden flame. It may not burn the flesh, but the might within is feed and drain the century of cultivating such might! 

If that's all, it may not cause an uproar, that even the seer is left shaken with them. The golden flame feeding such might will only prolong this gloomy forest; and to forever housing them without a chance of resisting. It's life is them, and it's their life!
