Hello lovelies, So as you all can see we have reached the end of the story...almost. And I have gone through all of your comments and I cannot thank you enough for being so invested in the characters and the story. I have a question to ask. As you all know, the story is quite long already, and I also understand that we need a happily ever after for our beloved characters. But I also saw a few comments asking me to wrap up the story. So with that in mind, I wish to know ideally how many more chapters would you love to read. I do not want to needlessly drag the story but also do not want to hastily wrap it up. So, if I know how many of you are still genuinely interested in reading more of it, I can plan my chapters accordingly. That being said, I would also like to inform you that it would be impossible for me to accommodate all of your suggestions but I would try my best. Last but not least, its been a while since I asked for reviews, so I would once again ask you all to leave a
JasperMy consciousness began to stir, like a lone ember in the darkness. Pain tore through my body as I groaned, and my senses struggled to make sense of the disorienting world around me. The air was cool, and a throbbing ache resonated throughout my entire being. It felt as if I'd been torn apart over and over again and reassembled, just to start from scratch again.Even moving a finger felt like an effort and I lay deathly still, not wanting to open my eyes. I waited and waited to feel the life seeping away from me but it never happened.Had I not been injured lethally? Was it so hard to die?I blinked, my vision still foggy, and a splitting headache shot up my brain, making me groan in pain. Somehow, I managed to place my hand on my head to stop feeling dizzy but it was of little help.I blinked some more and I could only see white all around me. The palace wasn’t white…so where was I?Forcing my eyes that felt like they weighed a ton to open, I found myself suspended in a surreal
Jasper My eyes felt heavy and my body did not want to move. I felt something brush my skin but my brain was too tired to comprehend who or what was touching me. Why could I even feel things? Had Selene made the decision and left me hanging here- somewhere in between? When I could not tolerate the suspense anymore, I opened my eyes, groggily, and felt something shine on my eyes. The light was too bright but after slowly blinking a few times, I could look at it. The blurry outlines slowly took shape and I saw the early morning sunlight filtered through the delicate curtains, casting a warm, golden hue across the room. It was warm and felt nice as the soft breeze flew in through the window. Wait, a window? My eyebrows furrowed as I forced my eyes to open a bit more. The soft clouds were not around me but I was lying in a comfortable bed, my bed. With a start, my eyes flew open, wondering if I was dreaming. But the room looked the same to me. The ceiling was the same pale blue colo
JasperHad I heard her right?I looked at her eyes which were smiling radiantly at me. My gaze flitted to Nymeria as if I wanted her confirmation that I was not hallucinating.“You are a true prince charming for waking up the sleeping beauty from her sleep”She added and my joy knew no bounds.I must look quite funny to her as tears streamed down my eyes while I whooped, letting out a joyous roar.I was jumping up and down like a little kid who had just received a special birthday gift.“Celia, oh my God, you scared me for a second there.”I went towards her and shook her shoulders but Nymeria was quick to add.“She is still weak. You want her to rest, right?”“Oh yes, yes” I added and pulled my hands off her. But then even despite her bandages and a thousand injuries all over her body, she still was my Celia. My mate. My girl. My everything in the truest sense. The day couldn’t get any better.I fell down on my knees, hands joined together in a prayer as I closed my eyes and thanked
JasperThe next few days passed in a blur. Together with Edriel and Draken, I took charge of reconstructing the palace. It had been damaged beyond repair in the front but not so much on the sides or the backside. And the few weeks I had spent in sleep, nobody had the strength to work on anything. My father rewarded the royal healer handsomely for his efforts and I got to work though he suggested that I rest some more.I could not sit idle with my home lying like a wreckage. So I walked towards the broken wall and looked outside. The front garden was not in such a bad shape. Most of the debris had been piled up to the side to make way for people to walk in and outside but the former glory of my palace was missing. So, I decided to take a stroll through the huge property and survey the damage. The palace definitely needed a major overhaul. While walking through the open space, I saw more servants rush up to me, greeting me and thanking me for killing the dark witch. But I noticed none o
CeliaAs Jasper walked beside me, his very presence filled my being with warmth and comfort. His scent, a heady mixture of earthy woods and his own unique, intoxicating fragrance, enveloped me like a protective embrace. I observed him, my heart overflowing with gratitude for the incredible man who had become not just my love but my lifeline, my mate.Isadora had tricked me into believing Vasil was my mate but the true pull of the mate bond was poles apart from the confusion she had tried to insert in my head.It was as if whenever I saw Jasper, my heart filled with hope and the promise that if he was around, nothing would ever go wrong.Every time I recalled the way he had jumped up and down the floor when I called him my mate and the way he ran through the palace telling everyone excitedly that I was his mate, my eyes would grow moist. What had I ever done to deserve him? I barely tried to fight Isadora but he literally fought both the devil and the Goddess, just like he had promised
"Are you guys ever coming out?" Jasper called with a good-natured grin, standing a few paces away from the porch. He had his hands placed on the doorframe and looked at us with his eyes furrowed as he saw Vasil holding my hand which I gave a gentle squeeze.“Don’t forget what I told you. Think about it,” I added, looking at Vasil while getting up from the chair.Jasper folded his hands over his chest and asked, “What secret are you guys discussing?”Vasil too got up from his chair and gave my arm a light squeeze.“Of course. And just so you know, if he ever hurts you or makes you sad, you know where to find me.”“Ha ha ha, very funny, bloodsucker,” Jasper replied humorlessly and looked at me to indicate that he wanted me to come out of the room.Vasil outstretched his hand as if to say, “After you” and I looked at him with my eyes wide, “Why are you always mean to him?”Jasper grinned, “He tried to take you from me. Am I not great for letting him live?”Vasil, who was just behind me,
CeliaThe grand lycan palace was alive with anticipation, every corner adorned with flowers and delicate decorations in celebration of our wedding day. Two weeks had passed in a blur since the night Jasper had proposed to me in front of my pack. And every day after that seemed like a dream to me. I would wake up and pinch myself, wondering if it was all my imagination. But it was true, every single moment of it…just like today. The air was thick with the sweet scent of blooming roses, and the palace echoed with laughter and the sound of joyous conversations. In my room, the one I used to live in before I moved in with Jasper, a sense of nervous excitement filled the room as I sat before a beautifully crafted vanity mirror, surrounded by my maids and my dear friend, Nymeria. Their skilled hands moved with grace, tending to every detail to transform me into the radiant bride I aspired to be.The maids began to braid my long, dark hair, weaving flowers and jewels into it.As their nimble
