Chapter One

Mia walked down the hallway feeling very dizzy. She needed to get to the bathroom to wash her face to stay sober. As she was about to get past the hotel rooms around, a door was opened, and she was pushed in. Stunned, she tried to leave when a strong hand grabbed her. "What are you doing in my room little dove?" The deep voice clouded her senses.

"Let me go please!" She begged, still trying to run out.

"It's too late!" He groaned and overpowered her.

Mia had no idea how she got thrown to the bed, and before she realized it, this man tampered with her virginity till she fainted.

She opened her eyes the next morning only to find Sia staring deeply at her. Flinching, she looked around her and saw a nurse leaving the room. Panic surged through her, and at that point, her tears poured out of her blue eyes. "Sia, I know you have realized, but please don't tell Dad!" Mia begged.

Sia flipped back her blond hair and rushed to sit very close to Mia. "You have got to trust me, sis! I'm not that bad."

"I trust you!" Mia's heart was still beating very fast as she looked at Sia as though she was her last hope to life.

PAK!!!

Cross threw a slap across Mia's face, his eyes filled with disgust as he wished he'd killed Mia before this day. "You filthy thing. I have always known you are useless but why did you have to disgrace our family in that manner? What did we ever do to offend you?" He reprimanded her in front of everyone currently in the house which included the maids and guards who passed by trying to mind their business.

Tears didn't stop welling in Mia's eyes as she turned to stare at Sia, who had betrayed her in under one hour. Sia took her eyes down and played with her hair a bit. "Don't look at me like that sis! I was only trying to save our family's name." She muttered and Sia took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry, Father, but I was raped. Believe me, all I need right now is your help." She cried. "Mother..."

"Don't you dare get Mother involved in this. She didn't force you to get your legs opened." Sia interrupted.

"Sia that is a very harsh thing to say to your sister..."

"Supporting such improper behavior is bad for your title as her mother, Rose," Cross yelled at his wife who then kept quiet almost immediately. "You are never to step your miserable feet out of this house else I would have no choice but to accept that you wish to disappear from the surface of this earth." He warned Mia and she shook her head in fright. She was used to him being very harsh towards her but the look in his eyes right then frightened her soul.

Sitting alone in her room, Mia couldn't help but cry her eyes out. Rose walked in and the moment she saw her child on the floor, she ran straight to her and hugged her really tight. "My child, I'm really sorry this happened."

"Mom, would you believe me if I said I was raped?" She asked her mother.

"I believe you! You are not what they accuse you of. Trust me, even if no one believes you, I believe you honey. Come here!" She then grabbed her closer and hugged her really tight.

"Thank you, mom!" She sobbed bitterly.

Mia's life changed drastically. There were no more parties with friends and family, no more dinners with the family. Everything had turned upside down, and she started to feel like an outcast. She spent the majority of her time in her room and on the balcony close to her room. She had no idea what the living room looked like anymore and whenever she got drained in the room, she cried it out. The only person she really sees is her mother, who brings food for her, knowing she hasn't eaten. Whenever a maid comes to clean her room, they give her a disgusted look, and that makes her run into the bathroom whenever she notices anyone coming to clean up her room and balcony then when it's time to clean the bathroom, she runs into her bed, covering her face in shame.

Depression sipped into her bones and Mia was never the same again. Her body suddenly started changing and she was losing sight of her very being.

About two months later, a tap on Mia's shoulder woke her up from her sleep. She sat up and looked at the clock only to find that it was just 6 am. Cleaning her eyes, "Mom, it's still so early."

"Yes, honey, but your father wants to talk to you. I have managed to convince him to forgive you. Isn't that a good news? Come on! Everyone is waiting to see you." Rose told her with a smile, and she got up, looking shocked.

Could that be a good news?

She guessed it was as she then quickly washed her face and mouth in the bathroom and returned to leave the room with her mother.

On getting to the sitting room, she was surprised to see everyone seated but not with strong faces. There was indeed hope on her face. "Good morning Dad!" She greeted, and after what seemed like forever, he nodded his head in acknowledgment, which did something to her heart.

"Hi, sis!" It was Sia waving at her.

Mia waved at her, not knowing what other way to react. She had lung forgiven Sis for betraying her. "I think I have punished you enough for your sins so I brought you out as a sign of forgiveness. What do you have to say to Daddy?" Cross asked her.

Mia stood frozen.

Sia was stunned!

She didn't think that was the plan she then turned to look at her father.

"I'm going to say a very big thank you! I'm very... Urgh!!!" Mia didn't expect this sudden urge to throw up from her body as she covered her mouth and ran to the nearest bathroom to vomit.

The whole family stood where they were, not being able to move as they watched her in complete shock. "Call the doctor!" Cross growled.

The maids around quickly got to work and within ten minutes, the family's doctor was already present in the building.

It took Mia forever to step her feet out of the bathroom and when she finally did, she couldn't explain herself anymore. The doctor placed her on the couch and quickly performed a test right in front of everyone. After he was done, he took a deep breath and turned to look at the family. "Is my daughter alright?" Rise asked.

"Yes, she is! I'm surprised I wasn't invited to Miss's wedding though, anyway congratulations, Miss Mia is two months pregnant!" He announced and the entire Linth family froze in shock.

Right after the doctor left the building, Cross walked towards Mia as though he would like to devour her. "What do you intend to do about this shame you have brought to us?"

  • The Mafia Boss is Hers    Chapter 15: The Room He Called Obedience

Mia never thought it would come to this. The hallway was darker than the others she’d explored in the mansion colder, quieter. Her bare feet padded against the marble tiles as two men led her forward, her hands bound behind her with soft leather straps. Not tight enough to bruise, but firm enough to make her feel powerless. They didn’t speak. Just opened the tall iron door. The scent hit her first leather, cedarwood, something colder beneath it, like silence. The room was large. Too large. A single chair sat in the center, velvet black and polished chrome. Behind it, shadows danced across the walls, shadows of things she couldn’t quite make out. Chains. Hooks. Ropes. A cabinet lined with tools that made her stomach turn and pulse race. Gun sat in that chair like a king on a throne, legs crossed, suit crisp, gaze brutal. He didn’t say anything at first. He let her look. Let her feel the room crawl over her skin like ice. Let her guess. Then finally: “You want to be sent away?

  • The Mafia Boss is Hers    Chapter 14: Break me First

The sun hadn’t even risen when Ava knocked on her door. “Miss Linth?” The girl’s voice was gentle. “It’s time for Baby T.” Mia lay still under the thick sheets, her eyes wide open, staring at the ceiling like it had answers. Her arms were folded across her chest, and her jaw was tight. Another knock. “Miss Linth?” “I heard you,” Mia snapped. Silence followed, but Ava didn’t leave. “I’ll come back in ten minutes,” she whispered. The door clicked softly as it shut, and the moment it did, Mia exhaled—long and shaky. She didn’t sleep at all last night. Not after the so-called “meeting.” Not after Gun’s voice replayed over and over in her head like a poison chant. “You’ll break yourself.” She clenched the sheets in her fists, the tension coiling inside her like a storm that refused to pass. She should get up. Baby T was probably already awake, sitting on the carpeted floor of his room waiting for her, clutching that tiny stuffed fox she’d given him. He’d ask why she was late.

  • The Mafia Boss is Hers    Chapter 13:Caged Heat

The room was silent, too silent. Mia sat at the edge of the king-sized bed, unmoving. Her fists were clenched tightly in her lap as if releasing them would let the rage spill over. She’d woken up in a cage made of gold. And gold, she realized, still choked just the same. The door opened without a knock. A girl stepped in, barely older than her. Slender frame, neat black uniform, hair pinned back in a perfect bun. Eyes brown and watchful, like someone used to silence. The girl curtsied quickly. “Good morning, Miss Linth. I’m Ava. I’ve been assigned to serve you.” Mia arched a brow. “Assigned to serve me?” Ava nodded. “Personal maid. I’m here to make your stay... easier.” “Is that what this is?” Mia murmured. “A stay?” Ava’s lips parted, but she didn’t answer. She turned instead to tidy the room, moving like a shadow. Controlled. Careful. Used to fear. Mia watched her. “You scared of him?” Ava froze only for a second barely noticeable. But it was there. “I follow orders,” sh

  • The Mafia Boss is Hers    Chapter 12- The Stranger in Silk

The mansion’s atmosphere changed the moment she arrived. She wore red silk and the smug kind of confidence that came with knowing people once begged for your attention. Her smile was forced elegance. Her heels clicked like gunshots against the marble. Gun didn’t flinch. Mia, standing at the top of the stairs, watched silently as the woman approached Gun and kissed both his cheeks. She didn’t say a word. She didn’t need to. Because in that moment, Mia saw it in her eyes: the performance. The act. The show. This wasn’t a mother looking for her son. This was a woman looking to reclaim relevance. Titan stood behind Mia, holding her hand tighter than usual. His little voice was soft. “Who’s that, pretty lady?” She crouched beside him, swallowing hard. “I don’t know, baby.” Gun led the woman into the drawing room without even introducing her. The doors closed behind them, and for a long moment, silence stretched through the hallway like ice. Arrow passed by and nodded once at Mi

The days that followed were oddly quiet. No dramatic announcements. No grand gestures. No new threats or reminders of ownership. Just… silence. Mia stuck to Titan like glue, his laughter the only balm to the wound inside her. He had unknowingly become her shield, her purpose, her peace. Every morning, he insisted on having breakfast in her room, dragging his toy lion by the tail as he bounced into her arms. And every night, he refused to sleep until she was lying beside him, her arms tucked around his tiny frame. To the maids, it was strange. To the butlers, mildly inconvenient. But to Arrow, it was a miracle. “You realize,” he said one morning as Mia helped Titan lace up his tiny shoes, “that boy used to scream if anyone but Gun tried to pick him up.” Mia looked up, surprised. “Even his nannies?” “Especially his nannies,” Arrow replied. “He didn’t let anyone in. And now look at him glued to your side like he came from you.” Mia smiled faintly. “Maybe he did… in another lif

  • The Mafia Boss is Hers    Chapter 10 White and noon

The morning came cloaked in silence. Mia awoke to the gentle light of the sun streaming through the grand curtains. Titan was no longer beside her. For a brief moment, she panicked until she heard his distant laughter echoing from the hallway, likely with his nanny or Arrow. She sighed in relief, sitting up… only to find a cream-colored envelope on her nightstand. Her name was written on it in elegant gold ink. With shaky hands, she opened it. “You are to be present in the courtyard at noon. Wear white.” G. There was no explanation. No detail. Just white and noon. Something about the note made her stomach twist. She didn’t understand why, but it felt like something was coming something final. The maids came in shortly after, almost too silently, not meeting her gaze. They dressed her in an angelic white dress, cinched at the waist with delicate pearls. She looked like a bride. But she felt like a prisoner walking to the gallows. When she stepped into the courtyard, her
