Happy Birthday

Shawn finished his shower and came out from the bathroom. He looked around the room and found Bella wasn’t in the room. Then a lovely piano melody caught his attention. Someone was playing the piano downstairs. He quickly made his way to the staircase and walked down. The lights in the living room were now dimmed and warmly fragrant candles that were placed around the house gave off a soft glow. He could feel his heartbeat quickened when he turned to the side where Bella was sitting in front the piano near the glass door, looking at him with a sweet smile. The birthday cake that she baked for him was placed on top of the piano.

She was playing the piano as the beautiful and soothing melody took his senses away. He just stood there, unable to move. He was completely immersed in her beauty. He held his breath as his eyes widened in surprised when Bella’s soft and gentle singing voice filled the room.
