Busted

I stood, transfixed and watched as the three strangers walked into the room. Two young men and a lady. They didn't look as deadly as the man that had brought me here. Still, they had some bad aura around them.

Richly-dressed, the men looked like people in their late twenties. While the lady looked as young as someone in her early twenties.

I took an instinctive step back, not knowing what to expect.

"Who the hell are you?" One of the men asked, furrowing his brows.

I swallowed hard as I dropped my gaze to the floor.

"Is she a thief?" The second man asked, his voice colder than the first man.

"Nah. I don't think so. Someone like her can't break in here without Gabriel's notice." the first man stated.

Nervousness wrapped its fingers around my throat. From the look of things, they must be acquaintances of my abductor.

I heard footsteps and lifted my head to see the lady among them approaching me.

"If you've got a tongue, I'd advise you make use of it." She sai
