I Want Her

POV Alejandro King

He’s late. I hate it when people are late, it’s so disrespectful. I am sitting in my limousine waiting for one of my clients to arrive. Usually I don’t do business dealings like this, but I seem to not be able to get through to this guy that I mean business and he owes me ten million dollars.

Finally, I saw him exit his home and get into his car. He drove right past me and I was livid. The nerve of this guy. Who the hell does he think he is to ignore me? Doesn’t he realize that I can snuff out his very existence? Seriously, what the hell? I ordered my driver to follow him and I sat in the back of the car sipping my Bloody Mary.

He ran through three stop signs and two traffic lights. What is wrong with this guy? Good thing he isn’t my driver, he’d be fired right away. I order my driver to follow at a safe distance as he pulls his car into the loop at the Harlowe Preparatory Academy and parks, exiting his vehicle then rushing across the campus towards the open field. I am familiar with this campus. It's where my angel goes to college. I have watched her from afar so long.

I exit the limousine and a couple of my guys are following behind me. I stand up tall and straighten my tie as I take strides across the lot. He runs down the corridor and I realize he’s here for graduation. I slowly walked down the aisle and I took a seat in an empty chair. He takes a seat in the second row and I watch him as he looks up at the stage where the most beautiful girl I have ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on is giving her valedictorian speech. It's my angel. She's graduating.

Still as gorgeous as I remember. Her sapphire blue eyes stare into the audience as she smiles and continues her speech. Her long, wavy dark brown hair cascades over her graduation gown. I know he's been trying to hide his secret from me, but I know all about her being his daughter. I also have been keeping a close eye on my angel and noticed that Tomas is an absentee father unless he needs money.

“ Oh daddy, I’m so glad you made it. I know it was hard to get work off.”

“I wouldn’t miss it for the world, princess,” he says as he kisses her cheek.

I sit back watching them interact with each other. Obviously, she is important to him, otherwise he would never have been as stupid as to stand up a Mafia boss like me. I watched her go towards the bathroom and I followed behind. She has no clue I’m even there. I sneak in behind her and hear her humming as she drops out of her graduation gown. I can hear the fabric rustle down her body and it has me thinking of hearing that same sound when I undress her myself.

Just then, I heard girls’ voices and ducked into an empty stall. She comes out wearing a teal green summer romper and checks her reflection in the mirror. I loosen my tie at the sight of those long, toned tan legs and curvaceous body that would make a man cry and her firm breasts that spill out innocently over the top of the bodice. She’s literally a walking dream and I want her, man do I want her. The girls make their way inside and she smiles at them as they approach.

“Nice speech, Kat, Girl, I am seriously going to miss you. I can’t believe you won’t be joining us.” a girl with blonde hair says through a pouty face.

“ Yeah, seriously a huge bummer! What are your plans? Don’t tell me your idiot dad gambled away your college fund, too?” a girl with red hair says with annoyance.

I watched my angel’s face frown and realized that HE had done what the girl accused him of. Although this is sad, I smirk to myself. I have him now and I can get my angel at the same time. It’s perfect.

“ Please don’t talk about my daddy like that. Even if he is a gambling addict, he’s still my father and I still respect him.” my angel says in defense.

I rubbed my cross necklace and realized that her father would never just hand her over. I would have to get him to the point where he would have no choice but to give her to me and for that I needed my men. I waited for the girls to leave the bathroom and slowly sneaked out, keeping my eye on my prize as she walked ahead of me.

“ Meet me at the casino. I have something I want you to do for me.” I told my second in command, Franco, before closing my phone.

We waited inside the car for him to leave and then I got out and walked up to him.

“ You’re late, Mister Tomas. I don’t take kindly to being stood up.” I said to him through gritted teeth.

“ Mister King Sir, I am sorry. I was attending my niece’s graduation.”

NIECE. He’s lying straight to my face. I heard her call him daddy myself and here he stands having the audacity to lie to me. She must mean a lot to him for him to go to such lengths to hide her from me, but I found out his little secret and now I’m going to make him pay me back one way or the other. He thought he could keep her a secret? I almost had to laugh at his idiocity. How could he think I wouldn't find my angel again?

True, she was hard to track down. After all, I only had a first name, Sofia, which Pedro had gotten from one of her friends from that night and she had given me a false name, probably to ensure her safety. It was by mere coincidence that I found her while I was surveying her father's comings and goings. He had gone to a cafe where she had worked. Seeing her in her waitress uniform made me livid. There is no way my future bride should be working at all. In time she would know the luxuries of being mine. Once I possessed her, I promised to never let her go. Since Chase Tomas only visited when he needed money. This was something I could use to get my angel. He's clueless.

“You owe me ten million dollars, Mister Tomas. How do you plan on repaying me?” I snapped at him, irritated that I had to put up with this from him. I leaned closer to him and whispered, “ I know. Maybe you’ll give me something that I can use as collateral until you pay me back every last penny!”

He looks at me and fear rises in his face. “ W…What do you mean? I have nothing to give you. Y…You already took everything.” he stares at me and I grab his shirt collar. “ You dare lie to me? Mister Tomas, I know you have something very valuable to you. I want her now or I will break every bone in your pathetic cowardly body , so help me God!”
