Chapter 48

Della's POV

"Della! Get back the hell here!" As I walk toward Nat’s room, Alessandro yells closely after me.

I don't pay attention to him and keep walking because I want to leave this place as soon as possible. No way in hell am I going to stay here with the woman who kidnapped, tortured, and killed me and my child.

"I'm talking to you!" He shouts again, but I don't answer.

I hear his heavy footsteps getting closer, so I speed up, but he catches up to me in less than five seconds and grabs my hand. I try to pull my hand away from his grasp, but all he does is tighten his grip and pull me toward his room.

"Let me go!" I yell at him, but this time it's him who ignores me and keeps walking.

When we are in his room is the only time he lets go of my hand. I turn around to face him right as he slams the door to the bedroom.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?!" I get so mad at him and yell at him while running my hand through my loose hair.
