Chapter 6: Wife

She was shivering in fear. I could see her shaking as she felt the cold knife on the soft and thin skin on her neck.

I made sure that the knife made a scratch on her neck, making her bleed a little. She must know that I won't budge twice before killing her, because if she can't be mine, it's better that she dies.

She closed her eyes due to fear, maybe expecting her death.

"I don't give an easy death, shona. I make sure that the victim dies miserably in my hand. A death like that would scare my victim that would make him contemplate his rebirth," I gritted.

She opened her eyes and looked at me. I removed the knife from her neck and held her tighter.

"Shona! You should he proud of yourself that the strongest man in the world wants you. He won't budge twice before doing anything to protect you and keep you. You should be proud of yourself that you're mine," I spoke in a calm tone.
