Chapter 5: Threat

I was sitting in the huge empty room, waiting for the man who forcibly took the control of my life.

Quick enough I heard the door of the room opening, I got up and looked at him. He entered the room with few of his men.

"Glad to see that you're all covered up," He chuckled.

I was disgusted at his words.

He walked towards me while my legs shivered as his presence felt closer to me. I stayed there still, when he pulled out black sunglasses and made me wear it.

"Now it's perfect," he proudly smiled.

I was about to tear up, but then, I removed the glasses and the face mask.

"It's suffocating. I can't be like this," I cried out.

"Shona. It's when we're in public. We have to leave for Belgium now, that's why. When we will be alone, you're free to wear whatever the fuck you want," he muttered.

"I am covered up, but this mask, sunglasses, it's too much. I can't breathe," I complained.

"You don't have a choice, Shona," he cupped my face.
