It’s been a couple of days since the bridal ceremony. Shane took off some days to help me adjust and we have been viewing listings of properties his real estate agent sent over. I freshen up and change into the clothes I bought with Shane before I follow Shane back downstairs. Gail is waiting for me, and her warm and relaxed demeanor helps to relax. I don’t exactly know how long it’s been since I was taken, but it’s been a crazy whirlwind. I can’t believe how everything has happened. I certainly not terrified for my life anymore like I was when I was locked in a cage. A bit extreme and I still haven’t gotten enough courage to ask Shane exactly how the hell I ended up in said cage, but I will. There is so much happening at once, and I’m trying to wrap my brain around it all. It’s intense, and I’m looking forward to a moment to try and process my thoughts and emotions.
