Chapter 45

After working for more than five hours, Sharon finally stood up from where she was sitting. Her stomach growled aloud, reminding her of how hungry she was. She had been starving for a while, but she decided to be done with her work before grabbing something to eat.

She stepped out of her room and walked towards the kitchen, hoping to make some noodles, but she didn’t expect to run into anyone in the living room.

Matthew was sitting there busy on his cell phone. Sharon wanted to ignore his presence and stepped into the kitchen, but his voice suddenly stopped her.

“Dee told me you were busy. I thought you would be staying in there forever.” Matthew's voice was loud and rude.

“I never said I would be dying.” Sharon rolled her eyes at the man’s rudeness before walking into the kitchen.

She made herself some nods and waited until it was done. She walked towards her living room to watch a few plates with her plate of food in her hands before returning to her room, but she was s
