Chapter 29: Being Friends

“You know, you should take a little break now.” Tony’s voice broke me out of my furious-typing-while-glaring-at-the-screen session. 

“I’m good. I don’t need a break.” I replied, sending him a curt smile for good measures. 

“Mia, seriously, you’ve been working for too long now!” He sighed. 

I sighed as I stood up from my seat and turned to him. 

He was my friend and he was actually concerned so I knew that I shouldn’t be rude to him. 

“I really appreciate the concern, T, but I’m fine.” I genuinely smiled at him.

“Then go and eat your breakfast and lunch now!” He
