Chloe had been ignoring Andrew for a week, and though he was busy with his work, he knew she was dodging him.

He couldn't understand why she was doing this. Before, she had been forcing him to admit that he cared for her, and now that he had accepted it, she was pushing him away. He really didn't understand what was wrong with her, why she was saying that they were becoming each other's weaknesses.

Mike informed him that Chloe was on the terrace.

He went there to meet her. She was standing with her back to him, holding the railing. Her black dress was fluttering in the breeze, revealing her milky white thighs, which he wanted to stroke and kiss.

She turned around as she heard his footsteps approaching her. As their eyes met, they got lost in each other's gaze. He strolled toward her, and her heartbeat quickened. Her breath always became heavier in his presence.

"I'm going." She stepped to walk away, but he stopped her by grasping her arm.
