Alyssa picked up her phone as it was ringing continuously, she didn't want to pick up the call because it was from. the office.

She knew it was either her aunt was making a scene at the company or a business call and to be honest Alyssa wasn't prepared for any of that kind of drama.

All she wanted to place her focus on was her upcoming wedding with Alex even if it was a contract marriage she still wanted to celebrate it in the best way possible.

Because if she didn't she would not have any other chance in this life to celebrate again.

Alyssa reluctantly picked up the phone from the table as it didn't want to stop ringing and she asked "So what's the problem now?" There was an awkward silence and Alyssa wasn't ready for any joke at that moment.

She angrily asked again, "Why do you keep calling me? I told her to let my aunt handle the company." This time she was looking at her phone to check the caller ID, and to her greatest surprise it was from her husband. It was from Alex and s
