SEBASTIAN POV : I was sitting down in my office going through some files when Matteo, my right-hand man, came in. Matteo: Boss, I have some information for you. I signalled him to continue with what he was saying. Matteo: You have been invited to the Casa Della Speranza Orphanage for a Charity Gala. "Oh, but why will Caterina invite me? She doesn't even like me," I said thoughtfully. "Maybe she needs to raise funds for the Orphanage", Matteo chipped in. "Do I really have to go, I mean, it is not even in this city," I said, while trying to understand the file in my hands. "Well, Boss, i have been talking to you for a while now, but you are not even paying attention. "I have told you that you shouldn't call me boss, just call me by my name, Sebastian, we have been friends for a long time Matteo, stop being so formal with me." Matteo sighs and says, "Okay, Sebastian." I thought for a while and decided to listen to Matteo. "So when are we going to Turin City for the Charity Gala?". "This evening sir", Matteo said while smiling. The next day, we were on our way to the Charity Gala when Matteo decided to advise me. "Sir, I am hoping you will adopt a child while we are there," Matteo says. I chuckled and said, "That is if Caterina decides to let me adopt a child from her orphanage. You know she doesn't like the kind of work I do." Matteo was about to say something but decided not to speak, and once again, there was absolute silence in the car. I was not ready to get into any emotional attachment considering my line of work. It would be too easy for my enemies to blackmail me, but at the same time, I need an heir to take over my empire when I'm gone. Getting a wife isn't even an option. I tried that once, and it didn't end so well. Choosing someone won't be easy. "I know you want to say something, Matteo, speak up," I urged him to talk. "Nothing, boss, but getting an heir to your empire is really important and very necessary. Your past shouldn't hinder you from setting up your future," he advised me. I sighed, not knowing what to do anymore. This was truly a very difficult decision to make. "Would you suggest a boy or girl?" I asked Matteo. Matteo chuckled slightly. "Anyone of your choosing, boss. The gender doesn't matter. When you see the right one, you would know," he said. I looked at him for a long while, then shrugged in agreement. Truly, the gender didn't matter. But just the emotional attachment matters. I hope this doesn't end badly, like my past. Remembering what happened in the past spoils my mood every time. "Will I really find a child to adopt at the orphanage?" I thought to myself and decided to close my eyes for a while.SERAFINA'S POV :The drive to the school was quiet, when I came down from the car I was amazed by the huge school I saw."Wow", I said amused."The name of your new school is Celestia Academy my princess", Papino said."It is beautiful", I said in awe."Shall we go inside", Papino said stretching his hands towards me.Alonzo was by my side and so was his father.Celestia Academy is a vibrant and welcoming educational institution, nestled among lush greenery and colorful flora. The building's architecture is a blend of modern and whimsical elements, with curved lines and circular shapes that evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity. The exterior walls are painted a soft, creamy white, adorned with intricate murals depicting scenes of nature, art, and science. The roof is a bright, poppy red, with multiple turrets and domes that add a touch of magic to the overall design.Above the main entrance, a large, gleaming sign reads "Celestia Academy" in bold, cursive letters, with intricate stars
SERAFINA'S POV :Serafina, Serafina, wake up. I kept hearing those words in my sleep, and someone was constantly tapping me. I finally decided to open my eyes, and I saw Lessia standing at my side."Good morning Lessia", I said while yawning."Good morning princess, I thought u didn't want to wake up", Lessia said, while laughing."Alonzo will be here soon, don't you want to meet him?", she added.I jumped up immediately, trying to find my flip flops."Calm down, you will have to bathe and get dressed because you are going to your new school today, and I am here to help you with everything", Lessia said in one breath. After an hour i was ready to go downstairs, I decided to look at myself in the mirror first. I stood gracefully, my bright eyes sparkling like diamonds. I wore a stunning long dress, a soft pastel hue that matches my delicate features. The dress is a work of art, with intricate lace and embroidery that resembles a fairy tale illustration. The fitted bodice showcases my t
SERAFINA'S POV :After some hours the car pulled up to a majestic mansion standing proudly on its sprawling grounds, its grandeur and beauty awe-inspiring. The exterior walls, painted a brilliant white, glisten like alabaster in the sunlight, radiating an air of elegance and sophistication. The expansive structure boasts intricate stone carvings, ornate balconies, and sweeping archways, evoking a sense of opulence and refinement. As my eye travels upwards, it meets the soaring turrets and grandiose spires, reaching for the sky like giant's fists, adorned with delicate finials and glittering with a subtle hint of gold. The windows, tall and graceful, sparkle like diamonds, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the lush green lawns and meticulously manicured gardens. The mansion's imposing facade exudes a sense of history and mystery, whispering tales of lavish parties, royal visits, and generations of family legacy. Its sheer scale and majesty leave the beholder breathless, a true ma
SEBASTIAN POV :When I got to the orphanage, the event had already started so I just walked in majestically, I might be in my late fifties but I still look young, especially with this blue tuxedo am putting on. All eyes where on me in a minute, I was literally the center of attention and then I could see Caterina walking towards my direction.Caterina: Thank you for coming to my Charity Gala.I could see the disdain in her face when she said that but I didn't mind so I just smiled at her.Caterina: The orphanage is going through a lot and I could really use some funds.Sebastian: I noticed, I just knew you won't invite me here if it wasn't important to you.She gave me a small smile then left without saying a word.ATTENTION ATTENTION!!! it's time for the lovely children to meet the people who are here to support them financially, Caterina said while on the podium. And at that moment a lot of children entered into the hall in a straight line, walking towards Caterina on stage, my eyes

MISS CATERINA POV : ONE YEAR LATER. It has been a tough year for Serafina. I have watched her grief over her mother's death every single day. She's been really sad and there is nothing I could do to cheer up. She even refused to celebrate her birthday, or any celebrations. I have tried my possible best to put a smile on her face, she needs someone who will love her, I hope a loving family adopts her soon, I don't want her to spend the rest of her life being sad, she's too young to be going through this pain. I sighed after much thinking. "I should check on the kids", I thought to myself. It was already five pm, the girls should be resting, I will just check if they are alright Isabella was the first person to notice me walk in. "Good evening Miss Caterina", she said "Good evening Ma'am", the remaining girls chorused. "I just came to check up on you girls" I said looking at Serafina in particular. "We are fine Ma'am", Valentina said "It will be dinner time soon, all of you
