BENEDETTA'S POV :

I could hear voices and when I finally opened my eyes...

..."Ahhh my head hurts"

"SHUT UP!! bitch", I heard one of the men say.

And then it dawned on me, where is my daughter, SERAFINA!!!

"Didn't you hear me the first time, keep your mouth shut!"

"Please where's my daughter, please don't harm her" I pleaded while crying profusely.

"Your daughter is safe", i turned to see another man, he was more calm than the one that was busy shouting, I faced him and asked; "please where's my daughter?"

"I already told you she's safe didn't I?"

I didn't say anything else and scanned the room, I was in a dark empty room, sitting on the cold floor with tight ropes on my hands and legs.

"I think we've been kidnapped, I thought, hoping my daughter was alright".

I turned my head to face the calm man and asked, "please what do you want, I will give you anything you want, just let I and my daughter go".

He chuckled and said "all I want is for you to tell me where your husband is"

"My husband?", I asked.

"I know you heard me the first time woman" he said squatting to my level on the floor to look at my face.

I shivered a little and I moved back with all the strength I had.

"C'mon I don't bite, just tell me where your husband is and I will let you and your daughter go", he said reaching for my face.

"I-i-i- don't know where he is, I stammered".

"He left the house a day ago, saying he didn't want to be with me or our child anymore", I added.

I could see the anger in his face because he didn't say anything.

"Go and get her daughter,he said giving the other man a hand signal which he nodded to, maybe she will talk when she see's her daughter in pain".

I broke into tears hearing what he said

"Mommy are you ok?"

I quickly looked up to see my little princess.

"I am fine sweetie just do as they say ok?" I told her trying to move closer to her.

I face the man who was still squatting looking at me.

"Please let us go I don't know where he is".

He chuckled and stood straight, he went towards my daughter and carried her

"Put me down, put me...

... Serafina landed on the ground with a loud thud, screaming in pain.

No, no, no, you monster what did you do I cried out loud.

"She asked me to put her down so I did as I was told", he said crossing his arms with a smile on he's face.

Now are you willing to tell us where your husband is.

I weeped even more, Between seeing my daughter in pain and trying to convince them I don't know where my husband is, I couldn't take it anymore.

"Please let her go and take me", I pleaded loudly.

"We have no use for you bitch", the rude man who shouted at me the first time spat out.

He turned to his accomplice and said,

"Let's just kill them, it's obvious they don't know where he is".

I cried even more.

"Please don't hurt my daughter"

"Mommy please don't cry" Serafina said trying to clean her tears and get on her feet from the fall she had.

"Kill the woman and I will kill the daughter", the calm man said impatiently

And before I could say anything, I heard a loud sound and when I looked down I could see blood flowing from my stomach down the floor.

"Pl..ease do... don't kill m...my daugh...ter", I said before looking at my little princess one last time.

"I wish I could go back in time and didn't suggest we take a stroll, I thought in my mind.

"I lo...ve y..ou ser..afi..."

"Nooooo....mummy please wake up, Serafina said as she rushed to her mom's side".

"Mommy we still have to go home please don't fall asleep, wake up mommy", Serafina tapped her mom over and over again, she turned and faced the men,

"What did you do to my mom, she said in a teary voice".

"It's time to kill the girl, do it now", the rude man said without hesitating.

"Umm I will but not here, her mother already messed every up, I will take her to one of the nearest bush instead", he said having a change of heart towards Serafina, she was just 7 years old, she didn't deserve to die he thought to himself.

"No, no no kill her here and right now the rude man said".

"Okay the calm man agreed and placed the gun on the little girl's head".

Serafina closed her eyes waiting for her fate. But when the loud sound came she wasn't on the floor instead she heard a loud thud on the floor. The calm man killed the rude one.

Serafina was in shock but before she could try to understand what happened...

..."C'mon let's go, we have to leave now" the man said dragging Serafina's hand, she looked at her mother one more time

and said.

"We can't go without my mom, please wake her up so we can leave", she said crying.

"Your mom is dead she's isn't going to ever wake up again, now let's go", he said one last time, dragging her out of the abandoned room.
