Led by Bravo Uno with Manuel’s help, Primo’s personal security guard, they finally got the entire picture of the event that happened prior to the former boss’ death. Primo felt like the organization was being trampled–just with the fact that the enemies went straight to the boss!

Of course, they’re not allowed to go easy on them upon countering their attacks–if it meant exhausting everything they got to crush them, then that path is the most ideal one.

After devising their plan, Primo immediately looked for Jennifer to get her insights about Georgia and a particular situation.

“The world is indeed so small~” Jennifer spoke as the cold wind brushed through her skin. While her eyes are fixated in a far distance, her weight was carried by a single chair at the balcony in the fifth floor.

“The opportunity itself called for me. So sorry, Georgia, but you’re meant to be here.” She uttered as she watched that woman crouching by the seaside to look for the ring that Primo threw away. The woman told her she wanted to get fresh air by the seaside, only to witness her struggling to look for the ring.

“I knew it. You have another motive in accepting my request.” All of a sudden, a familiar playful masculine voice emerged behind her. It was Primo who stood beside her and watched the same scene.

Air blew out of his nose as his lips curved at the sight of Georgia on a pink sleepwear he bought for her.

“You should’ve expected that, Boss.” Jennifer snickered. Although they are business partners, of course, Jennifer has her own terms in accepting a request for as long as it benefits her–she doesn’t often do it, in simple words.

And to think that Jennifer accepted such a request when there is nothing seemed to be beneficial in this situation indicated that there’s more to it in hindsight. She may haven’t spoken about it with him, but Primo managed to see her through because of the findings in their recent investigation.

Primo let out a sarcastic laugh at her response before making his reply that got the woman frozen on her seat.

“What else is there that you and Mi Amore see on that guy that I can’t see, hmm? I could only see disaster in him.”

The small waves crashed through the pale leg of Georgia while her eyes were trying to see through the clear water to look for her engagement ring. She might have appeared to care less upon confrontation with Primo, but that was just a mask to hide her intention of looking for it.

That ring is precious to her–and she knew, to Lawrence as well. If she had to dive in to look for it, she would. Her spine cracked as she straightened her back that had become sore. Her eyes met the entire landscape of the wide sea, and as if the switch had been pressed, the urge and determination to look for that tiny ring started to diminish in her system.

“Can I even find it…? In this huge water…?” her knees weakened at the question, only then for her to realize that her half-body was already one with the seawater.

“You can’t, Mi Amore.” A mischievous familiar voice sneaked behind her. It was already cold as it is with the seawater, but hearing that voice made her feel the shivers, as if she’s sat on the freezing sea during winter.

“Well, you can at some point but that would take you ages.” Georgia heard the splashing of water behind her. She just knew that Primo is getting closer to her. “You don’t have to bother, Mi Amore.” Her eyes dilated when she felt his breath brushed against her neck, giving her shudders from the spine.

“You’re going back to see him again.” Primo remarked in his neutral voice, having Georgia’s eyes sparkling with hope. Following that is when she feels something warm in her shoulders. Looking at it, it’s his coat! Her eyes widened in a second, but what happened next left her even more surprised! She just felt her stiff body getting carried into his arms as if she’s just the weight of a feather!

“It’s cold out here.” He muttered as he strode his way toward the building while carrying her in a bride style. It is still far away from the shore!

“I-I can walk…” Georgia hardly breathed. Their bodies basically touched each other. She could feel the warmth in his skin and his chest! Contrary to the warmth, however, is Georgia’s agitation of being held like this by him as she was reminded by what happened last night.

No, she didn’t regret slapping him on the face. She remained glued in her stance–he deserved it! But she has to admit that learning about him and his organization brought her heavy fear as well!

“B-Boss, I can walk…!” Georgia repeated as she closed her eyes intently. She doesn’t feel comfortable being held this way by another man than her fiance! Primo halted for a second, to which Georgia thought she’d be finally freed from his grasp. But it's only for Primo to tighten his grip around her.

“I can still choose to carry you this way, though.” Primo simply answered and continued to walk like he's not carrying a weight of a human! Georgia couldn’t do anything in comparison from her strength to him, so she ended up letting him be.

She was left with a question in her mind, instead. Georgia slightly raised her head to see him. What exactly is his intention? Is he really letting me go? What if it’s just a trap? Tons of questions appeared in her mind one after another.

Ever since she finally knew him, she started to feel doubtful in everything that he’s about to do. However, her doubts left hanging when Primo did mean what he said! He’s literally letting her go!

“Drive safely, Jennifer. Don’t scare her.” Primo said as he bid his farewell to Jennifer. Georgia thought that, that’s all there is to it and they’re finally going. But she ended up halting half-way through Jennifer’s purple McLaren when she heard his voice and the foreign language he calls to her.

“Mi Amore,” he called to her softly. She doesn’t even know what it means, but Primo conditioned her to pay attention whenever he says it. Georgia found him standing still with his hands on his pockets as the soft wind brushed through his fringes.

“If you ever change your mind, just call for me and I’ll have your glory of becoming mine.” He remarked along with a wink at the end of his statement. Georgia just furrowed her brows at him, feeling unsure about what he meant.

But... It’s not a threat, right?

Three weeks later, Georgia began spending her time rightfully–in a way that could help her in the future. She was firm in her decision. She didn’t bend and didn’t back down. She gave justice to her agreement with Heinrich–she completely separated herself from them. Sweats started to bulge in her skin, soaking her tank top–it felt like she was bathing with her own sweat. Georgia took a break at first and chased her breath. She took the boxing gloves off of her hand and gently threw her body on the edge of the ring–enough not to bounce. “Here!” All of a sudden, she heard a woman’s voice behind her. It was Lily who threw her a bottle of water. Fortunately, she managed to catch it with her one hand.“Thankies!” Georgia exclaimed and drank the entire bottle in one go. Lily couldn’t help but to get impressed at the sight. A chuckle escaped from Georgia’s lips when she heard a slow clap from her.“Damn. You’re so locked in, doc!” Lily commented. She kind of found her cool! The pose and the

“I’m so sorry, Primo…” Those four words escaped from Georgia’s mouth as her eyes looked at Primo who was unconsciously lying on the bed while being connected to the apparatus. She was inside his private room, but she still remained closer to the door. She couldn’t get closer to him. She was afraid. It felt like she didn’t have the rights, so she remained a considerable distance between them.Thankfully, the two guards guarding the private room approved her for coming in. She was indeed thankful, but this was all she could do. Watch him in a distance. Watching him was already a challenge to her heart. She was afraid that she might back down, she might dissolve her agreement with Heinrich, and… she might get deluded by her own feelings just to be a nuisance to Primo again. She couldn’t take that risk. Georgia somehow knew where she would draw the line–she was completely aware, that was why she was away from him, though in the same space with him. He felt so close to her, yet so far. She

Georgia hasn’t faced them yet, but she was already stunned to hear Manuel’s voice. It was the guilt that crawled into her skin. She felt ashamed to even face them. Georgia just stood frozen, as she felt their presence getting closer to their direction. In response to Manuel, Heinrich just raised his arm, showing them the bandages on his arm. Then, Georgia heard a woman’s chuckle–it was Jennifer.“Seriously, huh? It’s surprising to see your conscience after you fucked us up.” Jennifer muttered as she stood beside Georgia who still couldn’t move. She felt ashamed to turn her head to her direction. She didn’t even know what to do. Until, she felt her gazes landing on her through her peripheral vision. “What happened?” Jennifer asked, obviously directed to her. Worry etched on her face, while shame plastered on Georgia’s. She didn’t answer. She didn’t move. If it were on a text message, she just left her in read. Georgia swallowed the lump in her throat, until her attention was diverted

  • The Mafia's Enemy: Owning the Doctor   Chapter 104: Whose Fault

Since another coincidence arose, Georgia ended up being in the passenger’s seat in Kris’ car. She just learned that this guy is the owner of that cafe near the hospital which was why he visits to do his morning routine inspection. It came as a surprise to her. The possibility that he was the owner of that cafe didn’t even cross her mind. Well, she has already got a lot of things on her plate to even mind about that.Surprisingly, this Kris guy was like a chatterbox. Even while driving, he didn’t stop sharing various things with her. Witnessing him like that, it became another surprising fact that she learned about him. But that chattering has to end now as they were already in their destination. Kris brought her right in front of the hospital first before heading to his cafe.Georgia told her thanks and then bid her farewell to him in an instant. As the car finally went off, Georgia averted her eyes to the establishment. The fear that was suppressed earlier due to Kris’ presence, now

  • The Mafia's Enemy: Owning the Doctor   Chapter 103: Out of Her Mind

Is it really something to freak out for? What is it to her if Primo didn’t reach her out? What if she didn’t see his name on her notification? Does it change anything? Does it change her decision to cut his ties completely with him? No. Definitely, not. Whether Primo called her or not, it doesn’t change anything. Hence, Georgia just ended up letting out a heavy sigh. Then, she blocked the contact numbers of those people associated with Primo and also Primo’s number itself. She blocked them all without a single hint of hesitation. The sun has already risen and her phone was the first thing she ever checked. A part of her hoped that she would see his name on her notification. To her dismay, not a name of Primo ever showed. Perhaps, she was just right about blocking him.She was about to throw away her phone and get up from the bed to wash her face, when her eyes suddenly caught a glimpse of that particular message from Lily. A new message from her, sent just a few minutes ago. Lily’s m

  • The Mafia's Enemy: Owning the Doctor   Chapter 102: New Beginning

It is something that Georgia has to do, even if it causes her pain in her heart. But it will soon heal, right? That’s what keeps Georgia going–the thought that the pain will heal on its own. This will pass. It’s just a temporary pain. This won’t last. It won’t sting if she put her mind away from it. “Heinrich…” Georgia called as she was about to get into the car that they had provided for her. The sun was about to sink in the horizon, wrapping up the day. She didn’t know where she was. This place didn’t look like the CBF headquarters, either. Well, it would be risky for Heinrich there. Unlike the CBF that resided in a remote area, this place is right in the city–itt would be right to say on the border of the city. The building they brought her isn’t as enormous as CBF, neither as luxurious, too. In fact, this building almost looked like an abandoned establishment. Georgia turned around and looked at Heinrich, who was waiting for something she has to say. “Can you… at least tell me
