Last night, Primo asked for a personal request from Jennifer over the phone. This is his first time dealing with a woman who got dragged on to their activities–Primo obviously doesn't have any ideas about how he will open her heart to him. Hence, the woman named Jennifer made her appearance–the only woman he could approach regarding this matter.

“I don’t have to introduce myself to you, then.” Jennifer replied with the same smile as she heard the careful utterance of her name through Georgia’s mouth. “Hmm, I bet you haven’t eaten yet, have you?” as she took her way toward the pathway leading to the kitchen, Jennifer made a stop half-way for a second as she looked at her.

Of course, Primo told her about it–everything she needed to know about her.

It may sound like a wild guess, but Georgia knew that she got it from Primo. It was still surprising to see the presence of this renowned woman here–but Georgia ought to take this as a good sign–just because that fiery-appearing person is a woman like her. However, having another person with the same sex doesn’t guarantee her to trust that woman.

“Ah, yes…” Georgia replied after staring through her soul. Come to think of it, she hasn’t eaten anything since she stepped foot on this building–which also comes with a realization that she’s still on her lab coat.

Jennifer seemed to notice her awkward state as a smirk curved on her face. “I’ll wait for you in the kitchen.” She spoke and finally strode her way–finally removing the smile on her face.

“She looked interesting~” she whispered as she reached for the apron. Ever since she got acquainted with Primo and the Casa Bonsignore Family, never have she got any interest in getting involved with their activities–until now.

Although Jennifer knew the core of the organization, that still doesn’t make her one of them. To put her relationship with them simply, just like how she is with the Prime Innova Corporation, Jennifer is also a business partner with the Casa Bonsignore Family.

They use each other, basically.

“Uhm, is there anything I can help you with?” Georgia appeared in a pair of pink shirts and pajamas. Hearing her voice, Jennifer was prompted to look over her head to see her. And she couldn't help it but burst into laughter when she saw her in a pair of sleepwear.

Clueless, Georgia looked at herself. She couldn’t see anything wrong with her clothes.

“Sleepwear, really?” Jennifer whispered as she stirred the fried rice with egg. She thought Georgia was going to wear something elegant when she heard from Primo that he had prepared some clothes for her to wear.

She wasn’t expecting that! Of all women's clothes, that idiot Primo brought sleepwear.

“Anyway, I know you have had a lot of questions ever since you encountered Primo.” Jennifer started as she brought a plate of the food she cooked to the table where Georgia is waiting as she instructed her to. “Let’s talk about it over breakfast.” Jennifer added and smiled widely at her.

Hearing her, Georgia caught the purpose of this woman’s presence here. Now that everyone left, this woman will serve as the person whom she could get the information she needed to know about Primo and his gang.

But thinking about that left a huge question in her mind. So, other than Primo, another renowned businessman is also involved with this insanity?!

“What exactly am I getting involved with?” Georgia didn’t hesitate to ask, dropping everything she knew about Jennifer and just considered her as her informant right now. “I knew Primo as a businessman just recently, but how is he also the boss of this… evil act?” Georgia wanted to burst out, but she tried to collect herself altogether before it could happen.

“Well, yeah. That really is your one million question.” Jennifer took a bite first, while Georgia was observing her. “Have you heard about mafias?” she threw another question, instead of answering directly.

Furrowed brows, Georgia replied as she began to touch her food, “Mafias? Aren’t those popular in fiction?” she asked as she prepared a bite of fried rice. The spoon was already half-way through her mouth, when she halted as realization struck her.

Slowly, her eyes widened in shock as everything she had witnessed finally made sense in her mind.

“Yes, the people you’ve seen are members of the mafia–Casa Bonsignore Family, to be exact. And Primo, the businessman you knew, is the underboss–well, it’s kind of proper to call him the boss of the family now.”

The rest of the words that escaped from Jennifer’s mouth became distant in Georgia’s ears as she sat frozen on her seat.

Georgia has been referring to their group as a gang, unaware that they are just more than that! It felt like a huge rock got stuck in her throat that got her swallowing the lump so hard. Mafia… t-they actually exist?! She had been believing throughout her existence that such a thing is none other than a sham and fictional!

Mafia… Georgia knows what idea comes after that word–danger and brutal.

“A-Am I… doomed, then…?” All of a sudden, her life became ten times more precious to her. She was freaking serious about her question, but she only received a laugh from the woman before her!

“Not necessarily, Honey.” Jennifer answered as she observed her complexion getting pale. She’s pretty surprised that this woman hasn't realized that it’s the mafia who got her into this situation until she said it herself.

“W-What about you? Are you… also one of them?” Georgia asked to which she shook her head. “W-What is your relationship with them, then?”

“Let’s just say that… we’re business partners.” Jennifer replied as she played with the food using the spoon.

On the other side, Primo noticed the purple McLaren parked at the lot as they returned from the burial. With that alone, Primo could tell that Jennifer is now doing her duty. He, as well as the caporegimes and his security guard then went straight to the meeting space to discuss something that each of them knew.

Primo’s succession as the boss and the means of consensus to become the new underboss.

“Anyone who objects against the new holders of the two positions may now have their takes.” Primo, who was seated on the black king chair, spoke after their names had been decided. Instead of getting a response, silence just took over the entire meeting space as he observed each of the capos who displayed neutral expression on their faces.

Five seconds had passed and the lead capo, Bravo Uno, initiated the greetings for the new holders.

“Let us greet Alpha Uno, Primo Bonsignore!”

“Evviva, Viva, Urra!” the rest of the capos chanted.

“Let us greet Alpha Dos, Giovanni Callahan!” Bravo Uno acknowledged the new underboss, which was then responded to by the same chant from the capos.

And that was the acknowledgement of the new names in the highest-ranked position.

“Now, let’s proceed to the plan.”

The police dazed at him at the remarks that sounded hilarious. The police had to fake a laugh, thinking that Primo was joking. That laugh, however, only lasted a few seconds when Primo didn’t laugh with him. Staring at him with his surprised face, the police ended up gaping his mouth open, expecting him to elaborate his remarks.“Wait… did you actually mean it, Sir?” The police stuttered in Primo’s presence who’s inches taller than him. He stared at Prio cluelessly, feeling as though his job was mocked and degraded by this man. Although he felt somehow insulted, he still couldn’t seem to bring himself to open his mouth and talk back to him. This man just has a different aura that he cannot figure out, but could completely feel it.The police tried to look at Primo in the eyes, only to be the first one to break off the gaze because of something unidentifiable emitting from his eyes–something that’s not ordinary. Though he cannot name it, the police just ended up listening to his instin

The next day, they were shocked with another news again–well, particularly, Primo who couldn’t believe what happened. Just like last night, he received a call from Samuel about the incident that happened in his company. Today, another incident happened. It was the news that they woke up to early in the morning that Primo had to leave earlier than he used to. “What is it again?” Primo asked Samuel with his stern face meeting the gazes of the shocked and scared employees. Instead of answering him, Samuel just directly led him to the scene, where a lot of morning employees gathering around instantly greeted him to which he didn’t give a damn to pay his attention.Noticing his presence, the gathering employees then made their way to let him see. Contrary to last night where he met the deceased at the hospital, this time, the corpse was still found lying on the cold floor with the eyes wide open and soaked in his own pool of blood. Primo’s eyes narrowed at the sight. He stared at the bloo

As Manuel was about to stop by the company, Primo suddenly commanded him to go straight to the hospital where the person who died at his company was instantly brought to—which is the same as to where Lily is now. They were then greeted with his employees who were primary witnesses of his death. Georgia and Primo instantly separated ways when Georgia heard someone sobbing behind the curtain of one of the beds. Slowly, she walked to that and eventually found her guts to sway it open, just to see Lily holding on to her unconscious uncle."Lily..." Georgia gasped upon seeing the situation as her eyes slightly widened at the unconscious old man. Hearing her voice, Lily bent upward to meet her worried face, while Georgia saw hers coated with tears. She immediately opened her arm wide open to embrace her.She had never seen this vulnerable side of this woman. She knew her as lively and easy-going. But to see her this so emotional, it feels like Georgia has found her younger sibling that nev

For her long dead father, Georgia didn’t expect any of these. Her late father who was already resting in paradise… Her father who has long been dead. How can such two connections collide in the present? How can her late father’s name be brought up in this present time? Georgia’s mind was already a wreck. Though, there was no definite proof to conclude the involvement of her father. The fact that the name of the supposedly resting soul is now brought up from the grave just bothers her.In the end, Georgia breathed in sharply, and affirmed herself. “I hope it’s nothing serious.” She whispered through her teeth as her eyes gazed at the landscape of the night view through the glass wall.“Right. Another thing, Mi Amore,” Primo’s voice budged her from staring blankly at the breathtaking view. She turned her head to his direction, only to see him walking toward her with another paper in his hand. “This is what I told you about.” Primo then handed her the papers that contained the activities

Herald stared at Emilio with his deep eyes. By the looks of this man, it seemed as though he was anticipating his presence. It looked like he knew he was coming here. Herald looked at him sitting on his lovely chair with his legs crossed. And it felt weird for some reason, because another person snapped his mind who also did the same thing–except that person had the smile to welcome him, not this mischievous smile.“How bold of you to think that way.” Sarcastically, Herald responded. Well, Emilio indeed had been trying to invite him back to the company. Even though Emilio made it sound kind and considerate, Herald doesn’t just fall for it. He already had the taste of what it was like working here–he doesn’t want to experience the same shit again. “I just want to visit an old acquaintance, what do you think?” Herald and then, lifting one end of his lips. Then, his eyes averted to the interior of his office that changed a lot since he was here. It just looked like the old building of F

“Herald Juancho, he was once one of the Freegal ten years ago. He was the manager of the financial team. According to what we found out, he was close to the unnamed CEO back then.” Primo stated as his eyes occasionally glanced at the warm paper that just released out of the printer. The moment Georgia asked him about the old man, he immediately clicked on Manuel to find out as much information about him as possible. He didn’t know about these things when he first met him back then. Primo only knew the surface level such as to when he first met him such as being associated with Emilio.“There wasn’t much information about him in the past, but there’s a current one that would surely surprise you–or not. Herald knows Emilio Granger. He knows him more than anyone else.” He added. Primo didn’t exactly know how deeply the old man knew the Freegal’s chairman, but his encounter with him in the past had already said so.After all, it was Herald who signalled Freegal–despite him already quittin
