Chapter Thirty-Three

Damian's POV

"You have been slacking a lot lately. When I first met you, you promised me a lot of things, and you have been keeping your word. Lately though, it seems your loyalty is beginning to waver and I don't know what to make of it," I said, stating at the man in front of me.

"I am trying to believe that you aren't going to betray me one day, but something at the back of my mind keeps on telling me that you are going to do just what I am afraid of. So, tell me," I leaned back, relaxing in the seat even though inwardly, I wasn't at all relaxed. "What is all the delay? Why haven't I gotten what I asked for?"

It has been up to a month now, and I have still not seen any results from him. We both knew if my rules, everyone who worked for me knew that one thing I hated the most, was slackers.
