CHAPTER 30

The whole day I didn't see Giovanni even his shadow, I observed his men upon their unusual movements but I failed because they are acting normal.

"Mrs Brickser, just ask me if you want to see Giovanni," Silver said as he appeared as a ghost. I jumped out of scared.

"I am not looking for him," I defended myself and he just shrugs his shoulder.

"If you want to see him, just go to your husband's company and he is rotting himself there," he shared but I rolled my eyes on him.

"I'm not going there. I just got home," I told him and he nodded like he wasn't convinced at all.

I am relieved that he is just there because I felt a little guilty due to our arguments this morning. I heaved a deep sigh and went inside our room.

I am about to remove my top when my phone rings and I rolled my eyes. But it is from an unknown so my forehead creased.

"Yes?"

"I am," I told the man on the speaker.
