Chapter Thirty Eight

Only one week remains before the midterm exams and Augustus had only attend classes for one week. Well he arrived a month before, but one week had wasted for him to recuperate after the beatings he had to take courtesy to Agatha. Now he had only spent one week in the school, and another remains. How is he supposed to prepare in such short span of time?

“Whelp, you kind of had it coming when you decided to join school only one month before the exams, can you blame anyone?” Agatha says carelessly, pulling out her necessary books while Augustus stares at her incredulously. “I think I can. Apparently, I was completely okay with coming one month before exams because I know I’m smart and I can handle it.”

Then, walking beside her, the two make their way to their first class side by side, earning glances from everyone which the duo ignore. “But then, thanks to a certain someone, I missed a whole week of school to heal. So yes I think I can blame someone.”

“Are you saying this is my fault??”
