Chapter eight

"Cool dress you have here." My eyes widened when I realized i left the dress on my bed.

"Well it's...nice isn't it?" I took it from her quietly and hung it in my wardrobe.

"You had plans for tonight?" She asked, helping herself to the bed, pulling the comforter to cover her legs.

"No, it was...it was a gift." I replied her instead. "You should be resting alright. Forget about me, for now." I told her, turning to close the wardrobe and probably lay with her.

"I know there's something you're not telling me." She said to me and I froze. I tried not to look as startled as I was.

"Oh really, like what?" I asked, turning to her. She patted the space besides her instead. I obliged and sat next to her.

She took my hand in hers, hesitating to say something. "Look, I know it's a very sensitive topic and that's why you have been behaving off for the past hours that I have been here. But, you have to talk to someone about it."
