The morning lived on a gentle note. Across the Tribrid's homestead to the garden where Katherine lived, even to the island where she was laid to rest.
Arthur stood by the Riverside still swallowed by the sweet memories that played in his head. He had cried lots that tears could drop no more. Could he take revenge?, Or he should remain by the Tribrid's side. He was left in utter confusion.
"I spoke to Nicodemus about absconding from all these but he remains adamant. We have to return to the mansion now." Vincent muttered as he joined Arthur's side. "And I'm sorry about Kath." Vincent dropped his hand on his friend's shoulder. Arthur was a gentle soul,he just couldn't understand why Nicodemus chose to hurt him.

"Without him, life is hard. Perhaps my affinity for missing his presence has made me judgemental. I still feel the haunting burden of his death till this day, maybe if I had stayed he might have lived but at what cost?. My death? Or Vincent's or Sabrina's or any of his men?. I keep telling myself that I did it to save others but a part of me knows that I also did it because he killed Katherine. I did it for revenge. On the bright side, Being the leader and in charge of Nicodemus's pack and properties was a great deal of responsibility. I could certainly say I'm doing well in reforming the pack and taking good care of his wealth. Although things are still rough, like the growing tensions between each supernatural communities. The Vampires believe they should be the supreme community, the Werewolf refuses to accept the Vampires claim while the Witches simply want to be respected and not looked upon as a tool. Mak
He had no choice but hate himself for succumbing to this meaningless challenge. He could have simply compelled her to leave him alone but instead he acted without thinking. As his hands clung tightly to the reins of his horse,he fought roughly with his Vampiric instincts. It had been a while now he drank blood and since animal blood was his diet it made him weaker to his urge. He could hear the blood that pumped through the necks of his fellow riders, his mind began to picture the savoring taste feeding off their blood. Nevertheless,he wouldn't relent in waving off this urge.Thankfully the whistle blew. The race ignited with Princess Elizabeth pacing at first position but Arthur was shockingly loosing pace, many riders ran past him briskly. She was winning,he was loosing, his Vampire urge neither rested but he wasn't ready to loose this derby
"I know what you did yesterday." Princess Elizabeth uttered as she entered Arthur's stable.Arthur moved away from his pregnant mare and faced her with a confusing look.He stared intensely at her for answers."You chose to have a tie with me when you could have won the Derby." She stated with a slight frown. After the night's incident, she should have instantly reported him but she had heard news about him. Arthur was a gentleman who minded his business according to her sources. She couldn't decide whether to arrest him or not. Besides, her kingdom had been getting Vampire attacks lately and she could easily conclude Arthur was amongst. On the other hand, she wanted to know more about him,the man who impressed her. Hence, she made her decision to let him go and keep him under close watch.Arth
"I've been riding horses for a long time now yet you're way better than me." Princess Elizabeth spoke while they both held unto the reins of their horses as they walked on foot along the woods pathway. Over the days she had began to see more of humanity in him than a monster. She couldn't help but helplessly trust him while they walked in the woods alone. She specifically requested him to walk along the woods since the villagers had began rambling about them."Well I've been riding way longer than you will ever imagine but don't worry I'm sure you will be better than me sooner or later." Arthur smiled as he stared upfront."You don't seem to have many friends." She responded. Arthur glanced at her."I believe in small circles." He responded. "I think it is safe to conclude you don't have many either and you have some kind of hatred towards men."Arthur watched her face lower. Whatever it was
Elizabeth's breath came out unsteady as she watched both men prepared to launch at each other. She knew who Arthur was,how dangerous he could be but she couldn't stop this fight. Her father is so hellbent on seeing them fight. Her father disliked Seth just like she did but they didn't have any choice in stopping the marriage bond. She had to marry Seth in return to strengthen her small kingdom since Seth's kingdom was way bigger and stronger than hers."You fool!" Seth directed his sword straight at Arthur. Arthur concluded his opponent's movement were slow,he quickly dodged it and smacked the Prince at the area of his neck close to the shoulder.Seth fell to the ground incapacitated."I'll advice that you should never leave an opening for your opponent when you attack." Arthur mocked.
Shocked was an understatement. No matter how hard he tried to maintain composure he failed. There she was, looking at him innocently like she didn't know she just dropped a bombshell;the biggest secret of his life. How did she know?,even when she knows how dangerous he his,she still clings to him!. He wouldn't let this happen,he'd have to compel her to forget he ever existed."How long have you known?" He asked trying his best not to stutter."Since the Derby night.""You knew I am a monster yet you still decided to stick with me." Arthur sighed,he was already frustrated from everything."You're not a monster. That night, I thought you were one but as I got to know you more...you proved me wrong and even changed me." She muttered almo
Elizabeth walked along the forest path alone since it was the fastest path from Arthur's home to her Palace. The sun was soon to descend so she quickened her pace to avoid any dangers considering the Kingdom is about to witness a great catastrophe if this peace meeting slated for today fails. Her father had been adamant and still hesitant let alone the other communities, most especially Nicodemus Pack. She heaved a sigh hoping everything would go well once the meeting is held. She shrieked when a woman flickered through the forest. This was a Vampire, she concluded but as she made to run a lady appeared in her front with a sinister countenance. She gasped."What do you want?" She challenged with a frightened look."Prince
Author's note: This chapter might be a little confusing for some of you that haven't read the prequel. IN LOVE WITH THE COLDBLOODED. The Pack house was a time bomb for a catastrophe to explode in the Kingdom. The King headed into the mansion with his cabinet members and heavily guarded just in case. The Pack members were not any different either let alone the other faction Witches,Werewolves and Vampires. Just one mistake everywhere would burst into a bloodshed but they continued their calm all for the respect they had for Arthur Middleton, the leader who replaced the famous Tribrid, Nicodemus.Vincent,Sabrina and Elizabeth all watched from a close corner as Arthur walked to the center of the ballroom with a stern face. They simply hoped whatever Arthur was going to do would be convincing enough to end this enmity.Arthur took deep breaths to calm to his nerves. He needed to keep his nervousn
