Cipher's POV

The mansion of D'Amato stood out like a gem in the Parisian night and every arch-window gleamed back the gold against the closely-tended lawns. The air outside, themed to a Parisian gala was already pregnant with the sounds of camera shutters and the flash of paparazzi lights. Black limos crept up the drive like mutes of prey sending off dignitaries in designer suits and glittering gowns.

This wasn’t just another social spectacle. I knew better. Eleanor had just returned from her six-month absence, and she hadn’t wasted time. The invitations had gone out under the guise of celebration, but the real purpose was obvious to me: to woo shareholders, to sway old alliances, to tip the scales toward Julius. My stepbrother. My enemy.

My gaze drifted toward Eleanor as she worked the crowd. She wove in and out, like a practiced hostess would do, just the right smile at the right time, just the right champagne flute in the proper hand at the proper moment. And still in her late fift

Cipher's POV I woke up to the blinding light of the sun penetrating through the blinds; it was already sunrise. I had even forgotten where i was until her scent washed over me like water. It was gentle, very warm, and undeniable. She was still asleep and the sheets were all tangled up around her. Jasmine crouched on one side, and her hair ran streaming over the pillow like the arch of a dark river. I know I should not be thinking of her like this, should not be in this room with her, but I could not resist it.My thoughts wandered back to last night, how cute she was, how smooth her body felt when i touched her, and how her lips felt when i sucked them ravenously. Of course, i convinced myself that it was just a lack of self-control and i wasn't feeling anything more, but i knew better. Watching her sleep in that short, thin thing she called nightwear brought the heat back, brought back the bulge in my pants. I had vowed i would never go that far with anyone after Emilia. This fa

Jasmine’s POV.We just got back from the party, and the house was quiet; there was no maid in sight, and they are probably asleep. I quietly slipped off my heel, my clutch dangling from my hand.As i was halfway to my room, i felt something odd in the clutch. I stopped and unclipped the clasp. My body froze when i saw the small Polaroid slide into my palm. The world seems to shift. I almost couldn't breathe. It was a picture of me, no, her.Jasmine Goldwyn, my face before surgery, my long, unbroken nose, and no trace of Cipher's Emilia. It's a picture of me and my dad, it looked worn as if it had been tucked away for years. "Cipher." i finally found my voice, even though it came out sharp, it was trembling. He was already heading towards his room in the opposite direction, but he turned to my tone with a frown."What's wrong?"I shoved the Polaroid at him like it was a loaded weapon.“This. This is what’s wrong. Someone knows. Someone from before...” My breath hitched. “You said yo

Julius POVI’ve always believed that anyone who’s untraceable has something to hide. People vanish for a reason, maybe fear, guilt, debt… or worse. That’s why Sophie, Cipher’s perfect little porcelain doll, bothered me from the start. She came out of nowhere. No family, no friends, no history worth mentioning. Just appeared one day, on Cipher’s arm, as if she’d been crafted in some secret lab.I didn’t buy it.I’d already hired a private investigator months ago, a man who could sniff out a lie in the middle of a prayer. He dug and dug, and one evening over whiskey, he finally slid a thin file across my desk.“Marriage’s a sham,” he’d said, lighting a cigarette like we were in some old noir film. “Paperwork’s clean, but too clean. Like it was rewritten by someone who knows how to bury tracks.”A fake marriage. Exactly as I suspected. That alone was enough to keep me interested, but then the maid in Cipher’s house, a sweet girl with loose lips after fucking her and promising her love, g

  • The Man Who Stole My Name    The Family Of Wolves

Jasmine's Sophie's POVThe black Bentley drove up the sweeping drive like it belonged there, which of course it belonged there. The D'Amato property was so wide. Acre after acre of tended gardens, water fountains full of the most pure of water, and stone statues shipped in all the way from Rome, and a huge mansion made of a cream color that glistened as if it were made of gold as the late afternoon sun moved across the sky.The last time i was here was when Cipher and I got married months ago. Cipher had brought me here to inform his uncle and Julius that he was married. It was a brief visit and I could almost not recall anything much except that everyone seemed very cold and towards the news. Our wedding was attended by no member of the family. Not his. Not mine.Today it was not like that. The wolves were out.Cipher was the first to step out of the car, and i am sure his mere presence was enough because he looked so goo

  • The Man Who Stole My Name    I touched Myself

Jasmine's \ SOPHIE'S POVImmediately Cipher left, and the door closed behind him. The air felt heavier.I sat there still, my body didn't know how to react to the tension that just happened, to the heat between my thighs. My skin still prickled from where his breath fanned a few minutes ago. My body became hot, and my heartbeat became even faster. I looked down at my swollen breast, and i could see my hard nipple poking out of the mesh of a nightie i was putting on. I could still smell him, and he had clouded my mind. "I could fuck you if i wanted to..." his words echoed through my mind, and my body became restless and even hotter.I closed my eyes and let his image fill meI pressed my thighs together harder, and i shiver as my clit tightens. My hand moved slowly to my clit as i gently rubbed my fingers against it, feeling myself with immense pleasure. I touched myself slowly. My fingers trailed over my breasts as i brought them out and rubbed my hard nipples gently. "Cipher," i
