تسجيل الدخولI HUGGED MY nakedness as tears continuously poured down my face. The Alpha's room was filled with my sobs, and after whipping me for the Moon Goddess knows how many times, he left me in his room alone.
The floor where I am lying is stained with my own blood, and I can feel my body getting weaker as time passes by. It hurts a lot. And I didn't know how I was still alive at this moment. Is it because I am a wolf? If I was only a pure human, I would have been dead by now.
I hissed in pain as sweat covered my wounded back, bringing tears to my eyes. Fuck. Why do I have to suffer this much in my past life? I. . . I just want to die.
But dying means not going back to the present, I guess. I need to survive in this lifetime.
I curled into a fetal position and the moment my back stretched, I instantly regretted what I did. My fresh scars opened, and my sweat found its way in even more, making me cry. I felt a sharp sensation shooting through my entire being at the contact of the sweat with my fresh scars. Damn!
My back is burning in pain, and a throbbing sensation spreads through every part of my back. I don't want to suffer this kind of pain any longer!
I didn't know what had gotten into me, but I began to close my eyes and focused on the tingling sensation in my wound, trying to take all the pain as I imagined them closing. This action felt familiar like I had done it a lot of times already.
Soon, I felt my wounds closing one by one, and the relief that I felt as they slowly closed cannot be explained by a thousand words. I felt clean and new. . . like I was reborn.
I smiled to myself and looked at my arms and my chest. My burnt marks and scars are all gone like I didn't go through the ruthless hands of the Alpha.
"How did you do that, Samara? That was great! You learned an ability!" Amaris' voice filled my head and I could sense pride in it which made my heart full.
"I didn't know. I just did. Now, let's go before the Alpha sees us and learn that I just found out my healing ability." I stood up from the floor and picked my clothes up, wearing them. I couldn't help but gaze at the part where I just laid down a while ago. The marble floor was stained red because of my blood.
I gritted my teeth upon remembering the Alpha and how he looked at me as he brought down the whip against my back. Now that I already discovered that I possess healing abilities, I know I am unbreakable.
I roamed my eyes around the room. The Alpha's room is huge with cream walls and a floor-to-ceiling window on the left side of the room which was covered by a thick red velvet curtain. In the middle of the room was his bed which was covered with thick white sheets and I'm sure as hell it would be comfortable to lay there and melt.
But I should go now before the Alpha sees me. No time to appreciate this hellish place disguised as heaven.
Running my fingers through my hair, I reached for the door, but before I could even do so, my eyes caught something in the corner of the room, making me stop in my tracks.
My eyes squinted as I hurriedly walked towards it. It was posted on his wall just beside his large bookshelf. A lot of things were posted in this area but this certain piece of parchment paper caught my attention.
It was a map.
A map of this place and its escape routes in case of an emergency.
A victorious smile formed across my lips and I was about to tear it off his wall when something snapped inside my brain, darkening my vision for seconds. When I closed my eyes, I saw the entire map inside my mind as clear as crystal, widening my mouth in surprise.
When I opened my eyes, I saw the map in front of me, and when I closed my eyes again and remembered the map. I can see it clearly as if I was looking at a picture, except that my eyes are closed.
"Holy shit, Samara! You're amazing!" Amaris gasped in awe at my new-found ability.
A gasp escaped from my mouth and my eyelids stretched upwards at the sudden realization. Holy shit! Do I have a photographic memory? This is awesome as hell!
Upon realizing that I don't need to tear the map off the wall, I made my way toward the door and opened it slowly. The Alpha told me to leave before he comes back or else I will be punished.
At that thought, I sprinted my way back to my room. I passed a lot of pack members, looking at me and probably gossiping about me. Somebody even threw an egg to my face and it cracked. I could feel the coldness and stickiness of the wet yolk sliding down my face down my neck. I crinkle my nose at the smell of the rotten egg, but I don't care anymore.
My cheeks hurt and I guess the impact created a wound. As I ran, I did what I did a while ago.
I healed the wounds on my cheek.
When I got back to my room, I was catching my breath hard. I inhale air as much as I can and every time I do, my chest rises. I closed my eyes and tried to calm my raging heart.
"Two abilities found in one night! That was sick, Samara!" Amaris kept on praising me and a smile appeared on my lips.
"Thanks, Amaris. Now, we have to escape this shithole." And I guess, this was what Amaris told me about the thing I need to do.
"This is the first sign, right? The first sign of doing something in order to make things right. This is one of the signs or clues that the Moon Goddess gave you." I walked towards the bathroom and washed my face. Oh, the Moon Goddess knows how I want to vomit so bad at the egg's smell.
"I won't say a word," Amaris said, making me roll my eyes.
Okay, then. Maybe, she also doesn't have any idea what we are doing.
I took a bath first and went to my bed after changing into fresh clothes. I closed my eyes and tried to remember the map. It was written on an old parchment paper and it has important labels on it such as the dining room, the Alpha's room, kitchen, and such.
The map was drawn out beautifully using a pen and the symbols are easily recognizable. I could recognize the symbol of the large walls, and I was right. These walls surround the whole area.
Right in the middle of the walls is the place. I just found out that the place was divided into two parts. The left side of the place was for the three powerful members of the pack. The Alpha, Beta, and the Gamma. It is composed of the main dining hall, the main living room, the main entrance, or everything that has a 'main' on it.
If the human world has social classes, the world of werewolves has a ranking system. And they have one thing in common—it pushes people to treat others unequally.
Fucking system.
I looked at the right side, and this area was meant for Omegas and rogues. This side is composed of the training room, the storage room, the kitchen, and where the weapons are located.
Oh, so we have weapons. I guess those are for the rogues or warriors who are meant to protect the place when it is under attack.
Or if they want to be the ones to attack the others first.
"It's amazing that I can also see the map in your mind," Amaris stated all of a sudden. I chuckled at her statement.
"Of course, you're my wolf, and you can read or hear my thoughts."
"I'm lucky to be your wolf, then."
My lips stretched into a bitter smile and I felt my chest tighten. I let out a sigh and shook my head.
"I failed you a lot of times, Amaris. We were hurt and tortured—"
"No. You didn't fail me, Samara. You keep on surprising me with your strength and courage to fight and survive. If you gave up, then I would have given up, too.
But you didn't, and I thank the Moon Goddess for pairing me with such a courageous and a fighter human."
Amaris' words suddenly brought tears to my eyes, and it filled my heart with pride.
I'm strong.
I am courageous.
I am not a weakling and worthless and what they say.
"Thank you, Amaris. Your words mean a lot to me. And I thank the Moon Goddess for pairing me with a beautiful and lovely wolf."
I heard her giggle which made me smile. We continued to look at the map and when I focused my attention on the Alpha's room, I noticed something.
In the middle of his room there was a square with five lines written inside it. The Beta and the Gamma's room also contain the same symbol in the middle of their rooms. And I'm sure it's not a bed. I saw this symbol a while ago.
I looked around. . . and there it was. The symbol of the door, except that the doors which we normally see is symbolized as a small rectangle with lines on it. But this one's a square, and if we looked at it from a different angle, it is a door that is placed on the floor.
"I guess we have found what we're looking for, Amaris." I could feel my lips stretching to form a smirk.
"The escape route!"
I nodded and began to analyze where it would lead. It would lead to an underground tunnel and the tunnel opens into the area behind the walls.
My heart leaped upon seeing it. That's it! We don't have to go through that door which has a bell on it and run for our lives!
"We could sneak into the Alpha's room and escape, Amaris!"
"But, Samara! There are warriors guarding outside the room of the Alpha, Beta, and Gamma! We can't sneak in that easily!"
The smirk was wiped off my face at the sudden realization. Right. But. . .
"I have a plan," I told her as the smirk formed across my lips again.
"What is it?" I could hear the excitement in Amaris' voice.
"You'll see tomorrow. For now, let's take a nap. We need strength to execute our plan tomorrow." I told her and cut our link off.
That night, I hardly slept a wink. I kept on thinking about the plan that was inside my mind. I'm afraid we won't be able to do it, but I'll try.
Oh, Moon Goddess. Guide us.
I did my morning chores as usual—cooking breakfast for the Alpha. The servants were gossiping about me right behind me, but I didn't take a look at them.
They're not worthy of my attention.
"Here, bitch!"
A piece of bread was thrown at me and I was quick enough to catch it. I looked at the servants and from the looks of their faces, I could tell they didn't expect that I would be able to catch the bread.
"Thanks," I said and let out a fake smile, hoping they won't notice that I'm silently mocking them. I don't want to be tortured or create chaos right now.
We need strength.
After cooking, I rang the bell and went back to my room, bringing the bread with me. I finished it off as fast as I could, and I can't wait to execute the plan I have in mind.
The hotness of the bread somehow brought relief to my growling stomach, and it is enough for me to execute my plan properly.
"Ready, Amaris?" I wiped my mouth off using the back of my hand.
"How can I be ready when you didn't even tell me what your plan is?"
The annoyance in her voice made me chuckle.
"Again, you'll see." I replied back and got out of my room. I passed through the familiar narrow hallway and it opened to an area where I could see two wooden doors on the left side and the way to the kitchen on the other.
I smirk upon seeing that familiar door. I walked towards it, feeling victory rising inside my heart but at the same time, fear.
But I won't let fear ruin my plans.
"Uh huh, you're not doing what I'm thinking," Amaris said. I could sense hesitation in her voice.
"Watch me." And before she could even protest, I turned the doorknob clockwise and stepped my foot out, ringing the bell just above my head.
"The Omega is trying to run away!"

ALPHA SHAWN WRAPPED his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. I looked up and met his eyes, staring intently at me. And when he slowly leaned towards my neck, hot breath fanning the area in which I will bear the mark, I shivered and closed my eyes. This is it. I felt him open his mouth, and his fangs graze against my skin like sharp daggers. I held his biceps and curled my fists as I waited for his fang to sink into my skin. My heart beat in a combination of anticipation, excitement, and fear of the feeling that awaits me. He planted kisses on my neck, making me suck in some air. My knees shivered, and Alpha Shawn seemed to notice it because he tightened his arm around my waist to prevent me from slipping. "This will hurt a little, sweetheart, okay?" he whispered near my ear, and I just gave him a nod. When his fangs sank, a gasp escaped from my lips as a sharp pain started to spread on the crook between my shoulder and neck. It hurts. . . but the pain is somehow bear
"SEE? I TOLD you!" Amaris exclaimed happily, while I was still here on my bed, thinking about what Shawn did a while ago. I couldn't take my mind off his gesture—the way he pulled my shoulder gently and made me lean against his chest just to feel how his heart screamed. . . for me. I shut my eyes tight and sucked in some air as a wave of emotions washed over me like how the sea crashed onto the shore, drowning me until I found it hard to breathe. "I. . . I don't know what to say, Amaris." "Process the situation first. Seems like you're still not over with it." There was playfulness in her voice, and I thought about what she said. A sigh escaped from my lips. Damn. How can I? How can I process those things? He likes me. And. . . I like him, too. The feelings we have for each other are somehow unbelievable, considering the fact that we started on the wrong foot. My gaze moved towards the closed bathroom door where Alpha Shawn had just gone. I can hear the water from the show
"AMAZING, MY LUNA!" Alpha Shawn cheered from behind the moment I hit the three watermelons. Pride swelled in my heart as I looked at the standee, stained with red, and the watermelon's juice was dripping from the arrow. My mouth went agape as my chest heaved up and down. Shit! I did it! I fucking did it after three hours of trying! My heart beat in disbelief as my eyes moved from one watermelon to another. "I'm the one who did that, right?" I asked Amaris for confirmation. "And you did great!" She even squealed, and although it hurt my brain, her happiness made me smile. A wide grin formed across my lips as I put my bow down and hurriedly took off my chest guard and quiver. Alpha Shawn's claps and cheers echoed throughout the forest, making my heart soar. I ran towards him, not minding my aching feet. I saw him bend his knees and spread his arms. Jumping, I wrapped my legs around his hips and he wrapped his arm around my waist while the other was holding my thigh. I showered
Shawn Xavier "I DON'T DESERVE to be treated like a piece of shit. No one deserves to be treated like that. I've experienced enough from my last pack, and I won't let myself go through the same situation again. Maybe you're not abusing me physically, but emotionally and verbally. And I won't let myself be abused by my mate just because he found out that I was a slave from my last pack. What a bullshit basis for rejection." A humorless laugh escaped from her lips, and her words made me stand still. She smirked and looked at me with a mocking gaze. "No matter how many insults you throw at me, I won't stop from proving myself that I am capable of doing my responsibilities as a Luna, and if you're here just to insult me rather than teaching and guiding me, might as well choose from one of the warriors to replace you as my mentor, Alpha Shawn." Her last sentence made me imagine a lot of scenarios that sparked a raging flame inside me. Just imagining someone holding her in places where
"I THOUGHT YOU were going to teach me how to fight?" I asked, almost breathlessly, as I felt his lips on my collarbone, pouring all his emotions on the soft flesh and planting feathery kisses on it. I gasped and tilted my head upwards to give him more access. His hot breath sends a cascade of electric jolts dancing on my skin. "Fight in bed, yes," he huskily said as his hands went inside my top, gently caressing my flat belly which made me gasp. Sparks erupted from each touch as pleasure caused my mind to go haywire. Damn. "No. . . No. I need to train—shit." My lips parted when one of his hands went inside my brassiere, and his fingers quickly curled gently around the softness of my bosom. I felt his lips leave my collarbone only to cover my parted lips, and my grip on his hair tightened. His kisses speak like the sunrise—warm and gentle. And it felt like I was cradled by the sun's rays as his hands caressed my whole body. But. . . no. We need to stop. I pushed his chest hard, a
HIS MOUTH HUNG open as if he didn't expect me to say that, followed by the desire that slowly sparked in his eyes. My heart beat in a symphony of mixed emotions as I stared into his two black orbs, which were locked onto me with an intensity that ignited my senses. I saw him swallow as his gaze traced the contours of my form, and they stopped on my bosoms, hiding beneath the silky night dress, showing just enough cleavage for his eyes to feast on. "Are you sure?" His voice was wrapped with an unmistakable desire, holding a sultry tapestry of passion and fire. He looked at me, and it was a look that spoke volumes of unsaid emotions. It was as if he was giving me a chance to back out. But when I nodded, he immediately grabbed me by my waist and pulled me closer to him as if he were afraid I might change my mind. He didn't hesitate to crash his lips against mine, his hand grazing my cheek in a gentle caress, and I accepted every warmth that his lips brought with no hesitation. He r
