Maurine came in early after hearing the news of Marcus's misfortune.Another horse had died again.It was his favorite horse,the first horse he bought when he started his ranch business and now it was dead—she shook her head in pity as she watched him from afar standing in front of the carcass of the horse,no one knew him better than she did and she knew not to cross his path at the moment.Elizabeth woke up and the instant feeling of a dark aura surrounded her,she rubbed her eyes as she made her way down the stairs to find breakfast but nothing was there.It was a Saturday so Emily was still asleep in her room,so she went outside and found Maurine on the porch watching Marcus who was standing over something she couldn't quite see yet.
