Insensitive

I kept giving glances towards Mr. Montenegro. He was busy flipping the paper works on his table, and I could guarantee that he might not be noticing my glances I was giving. I am currently taking notes of his appointments using a table, for I am going to assist him to another company where his brother is working. It’s another establishment their family owns. It runs a warehouse for manufacturing products.

“Ms. Castro,” he suddenly called me out of nowhere, so I just looked at him constantly without taking my eyes off him. “I want you to go to the financial department and ask for a list of liquidation of the profit the warehouse had from the previous month. It seems like the accountant gave the wrong financial statement to me.”

I rose to my feet, nodded, and answered obediently, “Yes, sir,” I said.
