"Hey there!" Drex came after me, calling out to get my attention. I quickened my pace, hoping to lose him, but he shouted my name loudly, drawing the attention of passersby. To avoid further commotion, I reluctantly stopped walking.

"Hey!" He finally caught up with me.

'What?' I asked, my tone harsh.

'I just wanted to ask what you were doing at my girlfriend's room,' he inquired.

Wait, that girl was his girlfriend? I thought she was with that other cute guy. I decided to keep my thoughts to myself.

'Well, I came looking for you, but you weren't there, so she told me to wait for you,' I explained.

'Why were you arrested again?' I remembered he was in a Spiderman suit and almost burst into laughter when I thought about it, but he gave me a knowing look, so I managed to hold it in.

'Okay, I came to Singapore to meet my family but came especially today because today is her birthday. I thought I'd surprise her, but she was asleep when I got to her bedroom window. That was when the officers thought I was breaking in and arrested me,' he explained.

Wait, I was the girl sleeping there.

'Will you help me find her?' He asked.

'No, I gotta go home,' I replied.

'Oh, come on. I saw on your address you live really far from here, and it's getting late. Why don't you stay the night at her place when we find her?' He offered. 'Plus, I have to change from this suit,' he said, looking slightly embarrassed.

'Yeah, you kinda do,' I laughed, finally letting out my amusement.

'So, will you help?' He asked.

'Fine,' I said. My mum didn't even know I was here, so I could head home first thing tomorrow.

'Did she mention where she would be?' He inquired.

'Yeah, I heard her saying she was going to be at the central park. We should start looking from there,' I suggested, even though I wasn't sure what we'd find.

As Drex got changed, we headed straight to the park. After nearly an hour of searching, my stomach rumbled loudly, making it clear I was very hungry. Drex kindly offered to buy some food, and after we had finished eating, we resumed our search. Just how big is this park anyway? It seemed to have an endless array of activities.

I convinced Drex that we could have a little fun at the carnival located near the park. When we arrived there, I spotted his girlfriend and the other guy riding the ferris wheel.

'Um, would you look at the time? We don't have time for games,' I called his attention.

'But you were the one who suggested this,' he said, looking confused.

'And you would've stopped me,' I responded. 'Come on, let's go find your girlfriend.'

Even though I had seen her with another guy, I couldn't bear to break the news to Drex. I didn't want to witness a potentially devastating ending to their relationship, even if it might be the right thing to do. After three hours of fruitless searching, we grew tired and realized it was too late to return to her apartment. We decided to book a motel. Unfortunately, with the money we had on us, we could only afford one room.

Drex paid for the room, and I collected the key and settled into the spacious room. Since I had arrived first, I made myself comfortable on the bed. Just as I was about to drift into slumber, the door swung open, and Drex walked in.

'Oh no, you don't! The bed is mine!' He rushed towards the bed."
