Chapter thirteen

LEONARD'S POV.

2nd September. Thursday.

I entered my room and stared at my wife with a smile as she still slept soundly on the bed. It was a long night yesterday, so she's probably really tired to still be sleeping til now since it's already nine in the morning.

I don't really have much to do until I find out the time when the truck containing the drugs will arrive, so I'm guessing I'll be home for a while.

At least, my wife won't be alone for a few days, cause I know that after Tuesday the war has officially begun.

We're already in a new month, and my wife has been pregnant since June. The days are counting, and in the next five months, bad things can happen if I don't play my games well.

My dad is no longer hiding. He's showing himself which means he's ready to do something bad.

I sighed and walked up to her. I lay on the bed and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"Hey, baby. Wake up."

She was still unresponsive.

I planted a kiss on her lips. "Wake up. It's morning."

She let out a breat
