Chapter twelve

ALEXA'S POV.

I kept giving glances at Leonard, as we sat on the couch watching TV. I was wondering if I should confide in him. I mean, I don't know if I should. I don't know who to trust if my own godfather sparkles with doubts all around.

Or should I?

He seems to know a lot of things. He probably could have an idea.

"I know you've got something to say to me." He said. His eyes are still fixated on the movie he's watching. Of course, he noticed it. He always notices.

He looked at me. "What is it?"

"I..." I stuttered, then cleared my throat. "I just wanted to show you something," I told him with a firm decision to let him know.

I handed the file to him, and his eyes narrowed at me. I know he was getting confused.

He opened it and was scanning through it.

"Can you read it out loud?"

His brows furrowed at me, but he nodded. I know he has caught a glimpse of some of what is written there.
