I know I said I would be back but this? I really get a do-over. Get ready Lily because I am coming for you.

Riona leaned forward once she had entered midnight territory, her awareness at its peak as her eyes studied everywhere while she sat in a car, her eyes trained on the window as they neared their destination. The event of the last time was stuck on repeat in her head, more confident than ever she was determined to not let them screw her up. Never again.

Alpha Drake would react violently at the slightest thing because he was a hot-headed piece of shit which meant she needed to be very careful when he orders her to take off her mask.

"We are here luna," her driver notified her.

This was it, I will start to alter my life from here. She took a deep breath to calm her nerves before getting out of the car.

"Welcome Riona, I am Landa please follow this way." A lanky male came to welcome her.

She recognized him, he looked like a weak omega but his wolf was anything but weak at least his speed was no joke and this was coming from someone who has confidence in her speed.

He spoke her name like they were familiar, "it's luna Riona, know your place." She glared at him like his presence was sickening.

It may be out of character but it took her first death to awaken the other side of Riona, and show power that she would never be stepped on... Again. She ignored him and headed to alpha Drake since she knew exactly where he was.

"The great Luna has finally grazed me with her presence." Alpha Drake said as she approached him with two guards in tow.

Dealing with the alpha won't be easy but Riona knew she couldn't show any weakness to him or he would see her as an easy target like before. She could be wrong but she was not going down without a fight.

"My time is precious Drake," she studied him as she spoke. "I do lead a powerful pack that needs my full attention so let's hurry this meeting along."

His jaw ticked at her attitude towards him.

"You would have to take off your mask Riona," his gaze shifted from her eyes gesturing to the mask, now they were in a private room.

"Is that an order I hear, make no mistake I have no patience for this as my coming here is solely because of your relationship with my deceased father." Riona held a strong voice, not wavering once.

Drake only answered to power, that was why he didn't make a move when her father was alive. Riona was strong but she never opted for violence because she was the sort that would rather get hurt than hurt someone else but her heart had stopped beating once. Now, that Riona had died.

She was not here to talk, that was never the intention behind alpha Drake calling the meeting. It was all about her encounter with Marshall, why else would he renounce his pack for her?

"You are nothing like the rumors say."

"And what do these rumors say?" She spoke formally to him putting the alpha on edge. Good.

"I'm sure you must have heard them, you don't need me to say it."

"Then don't bring it up."

Riona paid attention to what was about to happen, her body ready to counter the alpha when he tries to take off her mask and sounds an alarm as she avoided his hands.

From the corner of her eyes she saw his movements, just like before but this time she moved at impossible speed pinning him down with her body, using one hand to hold his mouth shut and the other hand trapping his stretched hand in a stronghold. A complete body lock, something she had picked up when watching her father train.

"Drake, do you have no respect for women? You may be an alpha but I can cut down that manly ego of yours and ruin you so think before you act," She said with her eyes deadly and staring into his."Whatever your planning won't work."

The alpha had his eyes bulging out of His sockets at his first encounter with Riona, the rumors were false indeed. She was no weak luna to be messed with, he didn't even realize she moved until he was restrained.

"But I do want something, you will give me someone from your pack," She said, slowly letting go of the alpha who stared at her, what just happened? Shocked right?

Riona knew she was strong but not strong enough to handle an alpha, she had the element of surprise which gave her the upper hand and he is really dumb.

"Drake." she stood up and headed for the door.

She was certain Drake would offer to her Marshall, if this was a plot he was involved in, she would make him pay for everything along with his pack.

"I will give you one of my best servants." He breathed out as he regained his composure.

They left the room and alpha Drake spoke in a whisper to one of his guards.

The man left and sure enough, they returned with Marshall. She couldn't help the satisfied smirk on her face. Welcome to my game where you are destined to lose.

"This is Marshall, he would serve you well."

He didn't even question her for wanting someone from his pack thinking she was playing right into his hand and there was no way he would spare her after how she bruised his ego. He couldn't destroy her father but he would try to destroy her. Stupid.

Without a word, Riona walked away to her car with her guards, and Marshall followed.

She paused at the door, "I am your luna now, you have no ties to this pack." She said to him before entering the car and settled not waiting for his response.

He looked her in the eyes and smiled but that just made her want to slap him hard.

"I am fortunate to have such a goddess as my Luna," He said easily as if he meant it.

Riona thought back to when she first met him, she was scared and couldn't protect herself against the midnight pack. She remembered hiding when Marshall came and snatched her, he reassured her safety and got her out. She had asked him before why he would do that for a stranger and he said he just followed his heart. Well, I will rip your heart out and feed it to you.

"Never look me in the eye, keep your head low, and don't speak unless spoken to."

His smile disappeared, and he hesitated before bowing his head and looking down. Did that hurt your ego?

"Know your place or I would have no use for you." She said to provoke him even if she didn't show it.

There were no more words spoken after that. Riona smiled mentally, she would never let her guard down. There was still her best friend Lily, she wasn't sure of what to do but she needed time to think and read her mom's diary.

Would I be able to save myself and stop my enemies? We will soon fucking find out

  • The Masked Luna   The Entrance

"Where are we going? You are moving like you know this place." "You don't need to follow me you know." 'Like I have a choice' she muttered under her breath. Walking was a challenge since she sprung her leg but she rather crawl than let herself lose guard around Lennox again. When he offered to carry her, she flat-out denied him and now he was being an ass, taking long strides she couldn't keep up with just to make her ask for his help but he had no idea the extent of her pride. After the incident of the last time, they stuck to lower ground, following a clear path. Lennox didn't know why but his instincts had become somewhat sharper and more accurate, his sense of smell too. He was able to track the hot spring earlier and the fruit, because he caught a whiff, Of it and tracked their smell. Now, although it was faint he could smell salt water forward which meant the ocean sea, he could lead her out of the forest and to the beach of the island then they would figure more

  • The Masked Luna   Just us - part two

Riona cried out at the sight of the hot bubbling water, almost tripping in her mission to pull off her shoes. Freed of her shoes, she took eager steps forward, standing on one foot and then putting the other down to test the waters. She paused when her hand moved, about to start on the button fly of her pants. Her gaze shifted behind her to find him watching her with a gleam of expectation in his eyes. “You will be leaving right now.” “I said I would help you.” “I don't need help, especially from you, I know how to bathe myself.” “But you’re tired and hurt. Why not let me help? Let me take care of you.” She glared daggers at him. "I hurt my leg not my hand, now fuck off." "Why fight this?" “Either you leave or I will.” “Fine.” He shrugged. “I will leave because I can't have you not bathing and stinking up the place. Call me if you need me.” Stink? How could he even say that? She sniffed around her just to make sure. That bastard. She knew h

  • The Masked Luna   Just us

Riona groaned with a beaming grin resting on her face. She had the best dream ever although she could never openly admit it, a forbidden dream that felt like she had a taste of heaven in that moment of pure bliss. She opened her eyes and was met with dark Stone walls, a cave? It didn't matter since she felt good well until she felt the cold breeze twinkling her body and causing goosebumps to erupt as she shivered. Oh no! Her gaze moved down and for some reason she was completely naked, the smile she had on dropped into a hard frown. Why am I naked? Her mind panicked when she couldn't formulate any other answer except one and how she wished she was wrong or probably having a nightmare. Unfortunately, she knew that her so-called dream was not a dream, she really threw herself at Lennox and then slept with him. Her hands flew to her mouth, covering her gasp. What was I thinking? Right, I wasn't. "You are finally awake." Out of all the times to arrive, he

  • The Masked Luna   Hot night

Riona opened her eyes, her breath short and her body on fire with pure desire. She brought her hand down to roam her body and she shuddered at the sensation. "You are awake!" The sound of Lennox's dark voice fueled her need and an involuntary moan escaped her. She couldn't start to explain what exactly was happening but her mind was foggy and her body craved release. "Help me..." She whimpered in a barely audible voice. Lennox was by her side in a matter of seconds, worry clouding his expression then confusion. Her eyes were watering and she looked to be in pain as she grasped his hand and pulled it to her body. "Touch me... Please." "What?" He breathed out. Her request was impossible to reject but a part of him knew she wasn't in her right mind and she would hate him even more if he actually did. Riona groaned as her body throbbed and she couldn't stop herself anymore. She pushed Lennox back to the ground and straddled his waist. She planned to

  • The Masked Luna   Guardian

There was no guide on how to take care of a girl while stranded on a dangerous island and even if there was Lennox had definitely not read it. He had been walking for hours with Riona in his arms and his heart swelled with pride that she trusted him enough to fall asleep unguarded, snuggling into him although he knew she was passed out because of stress but that didn't stop him from believing what he wanted to believe. Even though his arms were tired and his legs ached making him very aware of his weakness, but in a weird way he couldn't explain he took joy in this little moment that shouldn't mean anything. Riona's leg had swollen a bit but now it was starting to come down. Lennox scouted for a place to lay for the night as the sun was setting but there was no sign of a house or a simple cave, which was to be expected since being on a dangerous island, no one in their right mind would want to be here. Just as the thought left him, there was a voice. "I remember you."

  • The Masked Luna   Death Island

What are my doing? Lennox was yet to comprehend his actions of helping Riona to escape, and leaving the organization and now he was stuck on a dangerous island while being as weak as a mortal. "You pray I don't make it out of here or I will end you the very chance I get." Riona threatened with gritted teeth. He gulped at the seriousness in her voice. I am a victim too. When Nix offered to save her, he couldn't explain the relief that washed over him, extinguishing his anger enough for him not to want to murder someone. Even now he couldn't stop wanting to protect her as she recklessly climbed up a mountain, taking every step with the potential of falling to her death. Did she forget she was no longer supernatural? His hand shot up as a reflex when Riona lost her footing but she still held on. His heart was at stake with the way it sped up, wanting to escape his chest whenever Riona did anything, even look at him. He might just not make it out without having a
