After weeks of preparation, a small flotilla of three ships departed the capital city of Cardonia, Esden. The flotilla is tasked to establish formal diplomatic ties to the Central Continent. The Reliance, Retribution and Motivate will sail for almost a month to cross the violent oceans that divides the two continents. The Central Continent is East of them, meanwhile where Cardonia is located is lazily called as the Western Continent and or Western Kingdoms.

The Motivate is the second ship of the Cheer class ocean going replenishment ship. At 190 meters long and a displacement of 33,000 tonnes, it is the second largest ship class Cardonia has in service. Primarily as a fleet oiler, it can also store dry goods and various stores and even some ammunition. It is the perfect ship to accompany the Frigates on these long expeditions as they are primarily designed for this.
