The Vampires Doctor

The sky is too dark and the rain keeps falling as if it will never end and only thunder can light every step Waylan takes as she keeps running away just to escape from her stepdad who wants to rape her.

She's too tired already but she couldn't find someone who can help her in the middle of the night. So she keeps running while his stepdad keeps chasing her until she got no choice and she enters the mountain known as the mountain of vampires where everyone is afraid to enter. But her stepdad keep chasing her until Waylan's body got weak and stumble.

"No! Please go away from me," Waylan pleaded the moment his stepdad is right in front of her.

But his stepdad just smile and said, "you are mine whatever you said".

His stepdad took off his clothes and come closer to Waylan and as she kisses her, Waylan slaps him but his stepdad holds Waylan's hand while he's on Waylan's top.

Tears fall from Waylan's eyes. She can not do anything but cry and let her stepdad do whatever he wants.

"No, please! I beg you", she pleaded while crying.

And when she losses hope, she just closes her eyes. But she suddenly opens it when someone holds his stepdad with just a single hand and throws him away. And as his stepdad fall onto the floor, he got frightened.

"Vampire!" he said and without looking back he run away.

Waylan keeps looking at the man who throws away his stepdad. He's tall, handsome but what frightened her is his reddish eyes, his teeth and his nails and can lift a man with just a single hand. She's too afraid that she can't move. Her heart beats so fast and she can feel the coldness of her hand.

Rain keeps falling and with just a blink of an eye the man is right in front of her. Waylans heart keeps beating so fast. She wants to be run away but she is too weak to stand up. She suddenly felt something in his heart when this man removes his leather jacket and put it on to her as his appearance suddenly change into a normal human being.

"Vampires do exist," she murmured before losing her consciousness.

Sun shines and birds start singing from up above. Waylan suddenly open her eyes and found herself in new clothes inside a cave. She got up and out of curiosity she got out inside a cave as she embrace the fresh air of that mountain.

"Wow, what a quiet place to live on," she murmured while smiling.

She keeps walking not far from a cave till she saw two persons talking. The other one seems older while she can not see the face of the other one.

"Who is that young girl? How many times did I tell you to mind your own business! Are you out of your mind? I have told you before that humans are humans! We are not the same Zeal! an older man shouted angrily.

"Daddy you told me before that if someone is in danger, help them!" answered the other man.

"But I never told you to help a human!" shouted the old man.

They just stopped when they sees Waylan and when Waylan sees the other man. She got afraid again remembering the appearance of that man last night who saves her.

"I'm sorry," said Waylan in a low voice when both men got near her.

"Child, I want you to get out of here as soon as possible and if you want a quiet life, you should zip your mouth whatever you see in this mountain," said the old man.

"I will go with her and show her the way daddy? answered the other man.

The old man didn't answer anymore and he just left.

"Just follow me. You need to get out from here ."

Waylan followed the man and as they are walking on their way she can see other creatures living in that mountain. Some are planting vegetables and some are taking good care of the animals like human beings. It is just like a small village where you can call home. They live normally like human beings.

"Are they like you?" Waylan asked out of curiosity while walking away from that village where you can never see a nipa hut but a cave.

"All of us living here is someone you can not call human."

"Do you suck blood?"

"Everyone here does but we never suck human blood but we can if we want?"

"But why didn't you suck me? Why did you save me? asked Waylan.

"Because humans never hurt us."

"Then can I become your friend?" asked Waylan while smiling.

The man stopped walking and he look back at Waylan while smiling.

"Why? are you not afraid of me?"

"Why should I need to be afraid to my saver? I'm more afraid of humans like my stepdad than you? answered Waylan in a sad voice.

'Okay, let's be friends but only this time. After this, we won't see each other again. All of us here in the mountain never wants to be with a human. By the way, I'm zeal."

"I'm Waylan and it's nice to meet you. I'm 16 yrs. old now.

Zeal just smiled and hold Waylan's hand going to heart shape rock near the way going outside the mountain. And using a sharp object Zeal wrote their name on the rock.

"Wow, that's amazing! said Waylan with a smile.

"These rocks are just like our friendship and like this big heart-shaped rock that will just stay here. Our friendship will just end here. You need to forget me and whatever you saw in this mountain you need to erase it from your heart to your brain," said Zeal while sitting on the rock beside Waylan.

"But what if I don't want to forget you? And seems like I don't want to go back anymore to that house where I always felt pain? answered Waylan with sadness.

"You need to because we're not the same. We are different. You face your struggles and find a way to survive. And never asked for death instead find a reason to survive, "Zeal suggested while giving something to Waylan.

"This is my phone, how did you find it?" asked Waylan.

"As you enter the mountain I already fallowed you and I learned that someone is following you too. You didn't notice that you already dropped your phone because you keep running. I get it and use it to record everything."

Waylan suddenly hugs Zeal while saying, "thank you so much".

Zeal is in shock when Waylan hugged him and can't explain what he feels.

"Let's continue walking," Zeal just said.

They continue walking until they heard some soldiers aeroplane surrounding the whole mountain up above.

"What's happening?" Zeal asked in a nervous tone.

"I don't know!" answered Waylan in a nervous tone too.

Then suddenly they started dropping bombs.

"Jump to my back! Hurry!"

Waylan can't do anything but let a vampire carry her and run just like a car. His appearance started to change into a vampire form while the mountain starts to be on fire.

Everything including animals, plants and other creatures starts to be burned. You can hear screams from creatures you can't determine.

"No!" screamed Waylan when the bomb hits the stomach part of Zeal.

They both fall but Waylan suddenly stands without any wound But her tears just started to fall when he sees Zeal holding his stomach while he's in a lot of pain. She also sees blood coming from Zeal.

"No! You're a Vampire, right? Why can't you heal your wound! Why?" Waylan said while hugging him.

Zeal push Waylan.

"Get out of here! Hurry! the mountain is already on fire and it is already near to us!" shouted Zeal.

"No! I won't leave you!" answered Waylan while crying.

"Just leave! Fallow that way and you will found a road there," shouted Zeal in an angry voice.

"Okay, but I will promise that I'll gonna find you someday so please stay alive," Waylan answered in tears while turning back and start running away from that burning mountain.
