Chapter 14: The Captain's Girlfriend

Rye found out about Khali's big secret, which forced her to tell him. At first, he wasn't talking. She thought he would laugh at or make fun of her, but she didn't hear anything from Rye.

"What?" Rye asked naively.

"You don't make fun of me, do you?" Khali asked

"Why would I do such a thing?" Rye asked.

"Because I am different," she said with a sad face.

"This means nothing to me. Unless you shifted in the full moon, I know you're still the annoying Khali." Rye was joking.

Khali turned to look at him, and he smiled at her. She kept staring at him without blinking.

"You keep staring at me, and it will surprise you later because I'm already kissing you," says Rye.

"Do you mean it?" said Khali.

"Kissing you? Of course, I've always wanted to do that."

Khali furrowed her brows. "Kiss? Do you want a kiss? What are you talking about?" said Khali.

Rye laughs at how Khali acted. "You should probably eat. Let's go?"

Even though he was confused, Khali still gave him a nod. Khali took
