Chapter XXXVIII: Its him!

"What is this? How come it was gone?" Alistair asked in confusion.

"Maybe the maids wiped it out accidentally? That's why it was erased." Anastasia suggests. "Remember? they always clean the rooms daily." She added.

"Maybe. Should we ask them?" He said.

"We should. But for now, I suggest to roam around the library first." Anastasia said. "We have the chance now."

"Yeah." He agreed.

They separate ways again to search around the room, this time they're not in rush and they have all the time. Anastasia made sure to check every details of the room, including the equipments, the books, the furnitures– everything.

"Found something?" Alistair asked when they met in the middle.

Anastasia sigh in dissappointment before shaking her head. "No. Nothing at all."

"Same." The prince said, matching her tone of dissappointment. "We should go."

"Yeah." Anastasia agreed.
